  • I love it!

  • This is completely amazing

  • great!

  • Fantastic combo - great choice of track for this clip. I think Fred would have loved it.

  • Puke! Dancing is not something you do separated to the music, you dance TO the music and TO rhythm. Each step is designed to what you hear. The music added to this scene has nothing to do with the dancing. Astaire would have killed you for destroying his fine art.

  • Amazing

  • some of the swing dance competitions nowadays are great too.

  • Fred Astaire once said that Ginger was the only female partner he ever danced with that didn't complain about the hard work. He must have forgotton about Rita. Amazing dancer and tough as nails when it came to dance.

  • @murraymae. That is not what I read in a biography of Fred. Ginger would do the rehearsals and worked hard during filming. But she would not repeat the steps after filming which was necessary for dubbing into the film, Hermes Pan had to do her steps whilst Fred did his.

  • @murraymae Following this frame by frame. She was good.

  • I don't typically like over-dubs; The original soundtrack comforms to the Zeitgeist of the 1940's

However - this is a great mix. You have got the track and the images in- sink.

  • I stopped it at 8 seconds. The music is a bastardization of the video and an offense to the the performers.

  • Meus ídolos reunidos: melhor maneira de receber 2012!!

  • Thanks for this uplifting vidéo... I bet no unprofessionals would keep the rythm !!! Anybody for a conquest ?... Good luck to all competitors, that's a way to start 2012 !...

  • @misspetedoherty huh? what?

  • love them dance together...

  • The music completely ruins this for me. Sorry Elvis, but there's a time and a place, and this wasn't it.

  • The clip is from the movie "You Were Never Lovelier" 1942.

  • thanks for the upload and clever switching of the music. HOWEVER, PROVENANCE PLEASE. What movie is the clip from?

  • Where the heck did this music from?

  • Those were the days ! Thanks.

  • The album is not on itunes. :( crap.

  • How do I get this version of Bossa Nova?

  • @tfryer73 It's on the "Viva ELVIS - The Album"

  • absolutely fantastic! love it! fabulous music put to some incredible dancing by amazing stars! agree it all fits so perfectly! can't wait to share this...thanks....

  • This is what was called dirty dancing back in my day, Oh that Rita Hayworth is one fine lady, and what an ass on Fred Astraire

  • Good mix :-)

  • no me gusta por que no estça con la musica original, es una falta de respeto a tan increibles talentos como pocos hay ahora, o ninguno, ahora todo es sexual.

  • gosh, this fits perfectly!!

  • which movie is this from?

  • @dhyanabora You Were Never Lovelier

  • GREAT DANCING - MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD - FABULOUS FRED AND

    RITA IS LOVELY....
