  • Oh such a GREAT track to play for your man and acting it out while naked!!! My husband LOVED that shit when I did it years ago before we were married! This one is always a good choice.

  • Johnny Marr should sue the shit out of this group......good song, though!

  • This song, along with the Smiths how soon is now ....totally blow me away. 2 of the best sounds from the 80's, lyrics too.

  • I would totally do either of those girls.

  • reminds me of the original 90210 lol

  • jajajaja...yeap...Julian Casablancas...Thanks god i'm not the only obsessed here

  • the 90s!!!

  • Still a great track. I think the reason it's aged very well are: banging backing track, great sample, and luscious double vocal from the the two singers.

This album (Goddess) and Foxbase Alpha by St. Etienne are my 2 favourite early 90s pop albums.

  • Cool back in the day an still fresh!

  • @GORDON634 Music was TALENT..!!! {:)

  • Great tune by the way.I used to watch dim strippers dance to this.I nailed five of them.None are your mom,I'm smart.lol

  • Hippy chicks lol.Hows that working out?

  • The Smiths got 25% of the royalties from this song because the guitar intro is from The Smith's song "How soon is now".

  • 21 years on and I still think this has one of the best intros ever

  • I haven't heard this song in like 20 years.

I miss early 90s radio. That's when they had actual new stuff to play that didn't suck.

  • I remember this from the old school Beverly Hills 90210.

  • o yeah

  • the sampled the shit out of this song for use on the awkward tv show: CHARMED

  • @TheMireaux7 Uh. No, the song that was used was not this song. In fact, this song sampled the one that was used for Charmed (the Charmed theme was a cover). The Charmed theme was "How Soon Is Now". The original song was by the Smiths and is older than this song :)

  • This song uses alot of good samples. Alot of good music from the 90's.

  • great video

  • I saw them live in 1990 in camden .. and loved the tune since ...never been without a copy .. vynal, cassette , cd, and now mp3 .. .

  • Same Beat as "Back 2 Life" Boom!

  • Oh the memories!

  • such an underestimated anthem.

  • really neat to know that

  • You know CHARMED sampled this for their theme song! :p

  • @AnimeBleachBabe lol you kids these days =P you got it backwards babe... the charmed song is a Love Spit Love cover of the original song "How Soon is Now" by The Smiths, which SOHO sampled for Hippychick

  • @AnimeBleachBabe Actually THIS song sampled the Smiths song "How Soon is Now", which was later used as the Charmed theme.

  • this is the theme song to my life.

  • Man I remember this song! It is one of my faves from the 90s and still sound fresh today. Too bad pop music has went to the dogs with everyone trying to do house and dance with and 808 bass lines and drum machines.

  • Esse video é Rarissimo, da mesma epoca do Soul II Soul!!!

    Obrigado ao MarcoValento pela postagem!

ps" Sampler da guitarra e do the smith "How Soon Is Now?"

    Essa Parada!

  • love this hippy chit

  • How awesome....I've been looking for this for years but I couldn't remember what she was saying I just typed in the title by the off chance I had it right...yay! I remember this in the early 90s at all the places we went out...so thanks :)

  • There was a UK alternative rock band that sampled that same beat. All I can remember from the chorus (probably wrong) "So he we're go now blah blah waiting for the sun" they play it on indie stations still.

  • One of the Best house songs! I remember those days; everything was alive. Youth.

  • Julian Casablancas brings me here :)

  • this song reminds me of smoking the kind bud and always being fooled into thinking it was The Smiths..lol..both great songs....!

  • happy daze & hippy chix

  • Is the singer basically saying that she won't 'give it up'?

  • The 90's!

  • This remeber this song got a lot of airtime on Armed Forces radio when I was in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm.

  • I tend to remember 90s music as dull and predictable, but I'm wrong, especially where this song is concerned. Classic tune. There's a sample of Johnny Marr's guitar in there too - cool.

  • fall of 1990...

  • WOW, miss this record. Not only one but two beautiful singers.....where are they now????

  • This song was the shizz back in the day! My friends and I would cruise town in our jeep blasting this through the Sonic drive-in at top volume. Ahhh, good times..:)

  • @starqz

I met my wife who had a jeep when this song was really popular. I wouldn't dance much at the bars @ Ohio State except when this song came on. It so reminds me of "the days"; in a good way....

  • many thanks love this song from when I was a young boy!

  • This number was a huge success and is still popular. I would hardly call it "underappreciated."

  • @MarcoValento here here!!! But it's such a great track, it could always be a little more appreciated I guess!

  • An underappreciated masterpiece. I still have this on tape, vinyl and CD.

  • this song was the first song Julian Casablancas of the Strokes recorded off the radio lmfao!

  • @Message167 him and me both

  • This song is so hot. To 'cjn1976'... my 1st time hearing this song was on a 90210 episode and loved it since.

  • Bad ass tune.

  • Thank you sooo much for sharing this.

  • dope

  • Vou repetir!!

  • Did someone order a bassline with a double dose of stank on it?!? Awesome!

  • I just now realized that the song has a sample from "How Soon is Now?" by The Smiths. When this song came out I had just gotten into The Cure and hadn't discovered The Smiths, yet. All I could do was remark on how their guitarist had a similar haircut to Robert Smith, but then again, everything was The Cure to me back then...

  • thankyouthankyouthankyou I love this song and I love the video thank you again

  • I remember when I first heard this track, it was on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210, since then loved this song !!

  • Uploaded straight to favourites, Ithankyorrrrrrrr !

  • It took me about 5 different tries to finally get the EXACT video and song I remember!! All the other uploads of this video are pure crap! Thank you for the exceptional quality you have here! The music and video on others was all jacked up! Like they were playing at the wrong speed - too slow! There was only that had a little bit better of a video quality, but there was no sound, so I'll gladly take your version! It's slim pickin's when it comes to this finding this video, so glad I have it!

  • Thanks for posting! I never even knew there was a video for this song.

  • Omigosh this totally brings me back to 5th grade. :)

  • Thank you for this. =)!

  • another forgotten classic
