Oh such a GREAT track to play for your man and acting it out while naked!!! My husband LOVED that shit when I did it years ago before we were married! This one is always a good choice.
Still a great track. I think the reason it's aged very well are: banging backing track, great sample, and luscious double vocal from the the two singers.
This album (Goddess) and Foxbase Alpha by St. Etienne are my 2 favourite early 90s pop albums.
@TheMireaux7 Uh. No, the song that was used was not this song. In fact, this song sampled the one that was used for Charmed (the Charmed theme was a cover). The Charmed theme was "How Soon Is Now". The original song was by the Smiths and is older than this song :)
@AnimeBleachBabe lol you kids these days =P you got it backwards babe... the charmed song is a Love Spit Love cover of the original song "How Soon is Now" by The Smiths, which SOHO sampled for Hippychick
Man I remember this song! It is one of my faves from the 90s and still sound fresh today. Too bad pop music has went to the dogs with everyone trying to do house and dance with and 808 bass lines and drum machines.
How awesome....I've been looking for this for years but I couldn't remember what she was saying I just typed in the title by the off chance I had it right...yay! I remember this in the early 90s at all the places we went out...so thanks :)
There was a UK alternative rock band that sampled that same beat. All I can remember from the chorus (probably wrong) "So he we're go now blah blah waiting for the sun" they play it on indie stations still.
I tend to remember 90s music as dull and predictable, but I'm wrong, especially where this song is concerned. Classic tune. There's a sample of Johnny Marr's guitar in there too - cool.
This song was the shizz back in the day! My friends and I would cruise town in our jeep blasting this through the Sonic drive-in at top volume. Ahhh, good times..:)
I met my wife who had a jeep when this song was really popular. I wouldn't dance much at the bars @ Ohio State except when this song came on. It so reminds me of "the days"; in a good way....
I just now realized that the song has a sample from "How Soon is Now?" by The Smiths. When this song came out I had just gotten into The Cure and hadn't discovered The Smiths, yet. All I could do was remark on how their guitarist had a similar haircut to Robert Smith, but then again, everything was The Cure to me back then...
It took me about 5 different tries to finally get the EXACT video and song I remember!! All the other uploads of this video are pure crap! Thank you for the exceptional quality you have here! The music and video on others was all jacked up! Like they were playing at the wrong speed - too slow! There was only that had a little bit better of a video quality, but there was no sound, so I'll gladly take your version! It's slim pickin's when it comes to this finding this video, so glad I have it!

The Smiths got 25% of the royalties from this song because the guitar intro is from The Smith's song "How soon is now".

21 years on and I still think this has one of the best intros ever

I haven't heard this song in like 20 years.
I miss early 90s radio. That's when they had actual new stuff to play that didn't suck.
