Of course, I cheered for them, being dutch and all, but they didn't deserve it. Germany and Uruguay, they deserved it for displaying some very enjoyable football. Spain and the Netherlands, shame on you!

As long as we don't play like we did with van Basten, we simply don't deserve it.

what a weak argument. germany have won three world cups and reached countless of world cup finals when their majority of their players were active in the bundesliga. experience doesn't necessarily mean advantageous, generally young teams can certainly win prizes when you look at brazil in 2002 or holland in 1988 for instance. besides, guys like schweinsteiger and lahm are only just past mid-20 but both already have more than 80 caps for germany. try and learn some facts first.
