Don't forget the Bull fights in Spain. There's also another "fun" little spectacle in South Carolina and Pakistan known as Bear Bating (a.k.a Bear Baying). Basically you take a bear, cut off it's claws, most of it's teeth, tie a short rope around it's neck, tie that rope to a pole, and let the bear fend for itself against a few dogs. There is also Wolf Fighting in Mexico from what I heard.

That's not always true. Horses may very well harm each other if there is some disagreement between them, but it's rarely fatal. I do know a horse who killed his "friend". I believe both of them were no more than 2-3 years old and they had been together for quite some time. He probably never intended to kill the other stallion, it might even have started out as play but I guess none of them gave up and the toughest won. I don't know the details.
