I am sure someone would be able to help you out by grabbing some clay and fixing up a stand and almost identical palace inner-workings that will fit in your display case. I dont think it would be too hard to do. Plus, I think it would be awesome to see the Rancor pit modded up as well. Rocks and victims bones and Rancor poop wouldn't be hard to do. The only problem would be waiting for the clay to dry and mixing the paints right.
this is awesom, I am ordering the new Jabba as we speak, and I have one idea for you if thats okay, why not work on a outside version of the palce? I mean if you display the throne somewhere then maybe you can work on a outside building of cardboard and paint it. You can make it removable that way it adds something to the scene, just a thought, anyway awesome!
Cool set up. They made all different versions of the figurines but the re-release of the old 70's ones are the best. The 90's ones are good too but not as articulated. All the Jabbas are awesome don't think you have the old old Jabba figure with the frogs thing and the cement block.
have u seen the cantina 3d display it's similar to the jabba one and came out around the same time i think it's pretty cool and came with a sandtrooper.
Mad was talking to BJ only the other day about Diorama's i think Hasbro is missing a trick cos if they were to produce 2/3 of them in which the figures could be displayed surely that could only enhance there sales for figures.
Kick ass! I'm working on a Jabba's Palace diorama right now, I put up some videos. I like your figure placement, that's something I'm, still trying to get down so I can really capture the scene. Check mine out, if you have any suggestiosn lemme know.
This a great diorama i realy wihs to find one like that one! is so well done, and did you copy some parts to make the wall? or too cover the rancor? the old jabba display is not bad but when you putted te new jabba just great :D if you put on your shelf black paper or cardboard under the jabba trhone then will look realy nice ,
@andrezituu1 Yeah--I copied a few parts of it.This is really a nice diorama--You can find this on ebay sometimes for around 5.5 euros.Have you got any new figures lately? Thanks for watching
and i didnt found enny new figures i realy whant the new wave somefigures the rebeld trooper and from the old wave the garmonian guard! but is o expencive right the garmonian guard?
looks awesome...you should go to a place where they can actually create a customize case for you...I forget the name of the place we have here but I shall ask around...
@mrSenCTVT I have got my eye on a really nice glass display cabinet with sliding doors, but is about 300 bucks! I don't think I could slide that one by my wife--LOL--- Thanks for watching
Wow. Such a cool diorama! They NEED to make more stuff like this! It'd be cheap for them to produce and a great addition to collectors who like to create displays with more depth. Great look at a cool product....and we totally agree with the 'Man-Face Jabba'...he sucks.
@NerdgasmCentral I know right--I think the set original sold for around $10 in the late 90's.If they made something like this today I don't see it going over 20 bucks. As far as the "Man Face Jabba" I don't know what they were thinking when they came up with that one--hahaha---Thanks for watching
VERY NICE MAN! great review! im gonna try to make a jabbas palace review. Great figs with it. I have 3 of jabbas guards if you want them let me know. Great review buddy.
@maddwoba its a set from the power of the force series you have one in your review there kind of like 2 creatures ones green another one is like an old looking monster there pretty cool lookin
@maddwoba its a set from the power of the force series you have one in your review there kind of like 2 creatures ones green another one is like an old looking monster there pretty cool lookin
Hey man, that's awesome! What line is that Carbonite Han from? (Not the one with the set, the one you used in your display cabinet). Thanks in advance!
@BlueBrickTARDIS It is also from the POTF 2 ,but that is is the best one I have seen.I found that Hans in carbonite and a Leia in Boush disguise loose on ebay for 7 bucks. Thanks
Looks very cool! I can't wait to wait to collect a Jabbas Palace setup with all the characters and stuff. Working on the cantina at the moment and I've hardly made a dent, haha
Really good stuff, man. I'm loving what you did here. Doesn't the DETOLF make everything better . . . .
Again, so glad I could help out. Now it's time to find some of the more recent Jabba's palace figures. Hermie Odle is one you should definitely pick up. While you're at it, see if you can track down an Ephant Mon and Amanaman, too--you definitely have room for more!
@FallenJed1 Yeah--- I am lovin the new case.I found a website that makes Apex pieces just for Detolf cases. There are alot more of the newer Jabba related figures that I would like to get and the ones you named are at the top of the list. Thanks again.
Brilliiant displays man and Ringo looks great in the cabinet!Top idea photocopying the POTF2 Jabba's Diorama-im a defo on the hunt for that playset now.
@boshek71 You wont be disappointed when you find one--well maybe with the Hans in carbonite--haha--It really does look great set up.There are always a few of these on ebay---Thanks for watching.
I have been been researching dioramas and have wondered if its a good idea to construct a box to contain all the figures and scenery/props...maybe it can open up for display and close for storage, or transport if necessary. as far as your set up, thats a smart idea to scan/copy parts to extend and add to it. of course space will always be an issue...ooh i caught that preview at the end! i'll be watching for your next vid
@etheangel2220 That sounds like a good idea for a diorama box--I am going to tinker with this one a little more --maybe even copy a smaller one. Thanks
Oh man that is sooo awesome. yay Ringo looks riiight at home baby. haha! Perfect setup, I'm thinkin more bones the better. I shoulda sent you that extra bone it's just sittin there. I think it looks awesome in the detolf! Wow is that a etheangel production on top? Can't wait to check it out!
@TheBudgetJedi Thanks--I can't thank you enough--ole Ringo looks great. You have got a good eye--That is etheangels custom MU stand. That will be the next video out. Thanks again.
This is really cool! It really is a nice diorama and a display. I never had a chance to have a set like this. You really did spend effort and time in making this diorama. Thumb's up to you bro!
Thats a nice set up :) Some older stuff can be cool too :) I really like how you have set up the figures there.. How about putting this on a shelf with room underneath like what budget did and have the rancor under this and looking up so it matches the rancor picture you have? Just a idea :D I would try it if only had Star Wars figs in my room :) Great vid. Thumbs up from me!
@devilstoysuk2 I don't have anymore room for shelves--Everything I took out of my cabinets are on shelves now--Maybe I will get lucky at yard sales this summer and find something--Thanks for watching,
It would be expensive but you could have a custom plexi glass case made. Or you could photo copy the pieces of the diorama and re size them threw Photo Shop.
@The8BitChampion I looked at an Apex case but it was only 16 inchs wide--I really need a new case.I found a really nice one but it is 700 bucks---I don't think I can get that past my wife--hahah--Thanks for watching.
how did you make the "extension" for the wall and Rancor pit? I want to "borrow" your idea lol, or if you make me one I would pay you :)
please respond
thank you for your time
