I've been playing this song for many years and every time it has a great success no matter whether I play it solo,duo or...It's really beautiful,and sad,and there is so much to say!

10 years ago I had a chance to listen to it a few times,then I was given a book with Ph.Coulter's songs and I had to perform them a few days later for Irish society in Bahrain.

And since then his music has always been with me.

I finally found this song here! Thanks a lot!

The building featured at 3:54 and 4:25 is Dunree Fort and is located on the north-east coast of Lough Swilly, Co. Donegal, in the north-west of Ireland. The fort is about 1/4 mile west of Dunree Town.

My son, you are not supposed to reduce your Mum to tears! C may have been dead these past 7 yrs, but the wonderful memories are still alive. The Flight of Earls was a favourite for both of us. Sláinte,it was beautiful.
