I got this of his "The random and the Purpose- solo piano" released in 2000. I'm just going of what is stated in its little inside pamphlet. just cheked it out on Amazon and you're right though. He stated," There were so many mess-ups in the last album that [I had to write] this song over again." Merciful Dwelling as I understand it was done in 98. It could be that this is just a diferent version of it; kind of like how Bethtoven's Moonlight Sonata Mvmt 1 and 3 are diferent.
@leodegario1 I see, this makes alot sense. He never learned to write or read music so he played the songs as he saw fit. It was constant improv, so it only makes sense that some of his pieces were revised.

Do you think Dax would be playing such music without those amazing pioneers of timeless musicians? Whilst I admire your passion, I dare say -- as unfortunate as it is -- Dax will not be remembered in 250+ years like Bach and other such prominent composers who paved the way to [predominantly] Western music & art.
To hell with Mozart , Beethoven and Bach all together... this is to beautiful. Check out all of Dax's albums. Absolutely every song is this beautiful. I am not joking. There is not even one boring moment in all 4 albums. You simply can't choose what song is the best. They are all to great.
that's my favourite from dax... it's so amazing! everytime I listen to this song, I think he must have had three hands! one for the deep melody, one for the high and one for the staccato part... it's unbelievable!
And with "really nice piano solo"you really mean YET ANOTHER AMAZING SOLO PIANO!!"
