what if you're really sick and you try to warmup but you cant because when you make a sound the sound sounds veryy weak and hoarse sounding.
Like say ur doing a scale up the piano and its barely coming out and when it is its very weak and hoarse. what should i do if i wanna be able to warmup?

Those are great tips on how to take care of your voice. Alot of people just say to drink lots of water, but people need to know more than that. I appreciate more tips! Here's a tip for all, never sing right after eating.
my choir instructor has us drink green tea and suck on a clove 2 hours prior to our performance. the clove clears your throat up and the green tea keeps your throat moist
I really like the throat coat tea...especially if your a morning singer like for church-def a must have!
