What bay are you near? I am guessing from the video you are near the bend of the power tower bay? We are by the west beach and have seen the eagles flying by also!
Hey, It's good to hear from a neighbor. I'm just around the corner from you. We're the place on the point around the corner of bay 11. We have the wooden Indian in the garden and the double decks. Sometimes the eagles sit in the trees on the point closer to where you are.
Great shots! I'm not too far away near westfield, ny. just across the border and I got to see them flying through the gorge that let's out into Lake Erie.
As a result of the Patriot Act and the NDAA the Eagles are going to move to South America away from the Ashkanazi Zionist police State . NO FREEDOM in America will force the Eagles to move away
Nice video of the Eagles! If I may suggest that you use a professional tripod, you will get much better results. You never can get steady shots with telephoto shots using freehand. Get a fluid head Silk or Manfrotto tripod.you. Both have optical stabilization and CAN be handheld for long shots but you will still get a better result with it on a professional tripod. No, it's not HD, but the images are fantastic. The Canon D7 MarkII is a full frame 35mm SLR camera that does stills and 1080 video.
Thanks for the advice. I actually have a good tripod but I was moving around and trying to hide behind the walls and peak out the windows so not to scare the eagles away. I'd have to be ready in advance to them coming around. The TM-700 will shoot in 1080-60P but my editing software is to slow to work with it. I convert all clips to 720P even before the editor. The camera is 3 CMOS and does 14 MP stills. The freeze frames are as good as my old Fuji Film 35 mm style digital.
Hey Guy. I got them too. They can be a real problem at times, not to mention there's nothing like looking up in the middle of the night and seeing a couple of them looking in the windows.
Oh that was probably Cruise and Amelia visiting. Ha, kidding. Isn't it great to have these guys showing up here? I'll never forget the first time I saw one of these right in the front yard.
Yes, I lived in Cleveland Ohio the first 35 years of my life. Lately there have been several movies made in the area, so people are hearing more about it. Most of the time Cleveland is made fun of along with our sports teams at times, but if you don't mind the weather that old Lake Erie stirs up in the winter it''s a good place.
Ha, Ya. Actually I have no idea at all if it's male or female and right or wrong we call the Cranes some time So get it? Ichabod Crane, Tome Cruise. Woody Harrelson and Amelia Earhart.
The egret sound effect was nice, just like a WWI documentary, and I like the smiley face birds near the end.

Eagles are becoming commoner everywhere since everybody decided to stop shooting them. Don't let them carry off one of your kids.

We are neighbors! We are right above the point (Merediths). I believe you are on the opposite side of the bay? More towards the dam?

Actually, I think this must be a Bue Heron. From what I saw on line the Crane has a read head.

@DadHav :) From my research, a good way to distinguish a crane from a heron is the fact that the crane flies with outstreched neck.
