This is really funny. I thought I was odd for being so upset about their acrimonious split, but it is a personal thing. Bands are a lot like marriages. When my bass player cheated on me with that cheap country band, it took some time, but we're back together now. My ex-guitarist and I still aren't speaking. LOL!
I also can't believe anyone else remembers this song. Thanks for posting.
Yes it is from "The Neal Schon & Jan Hammer Collection" and by the way Jan Hammer is the one that did the "Miami Vice" theme song for the t.v. show. I appreciate the nice comment and that you watch as well...Perry on to Infinity!!!
Yes Steve and Neal were great together and yes it was like a marriage, and oh yes that divorce was nasty and we....the real true fans of the original Journey....are the fruit of that union...we are the...fans. Thanks for the comment and Perry on to Infinity!!
You can tell they were really good together as SP always say,too bad they STAYED AWAY.SP and Neal is like a married couple with a nasty divorce. Thanks again Perryswoman and I'm Perrysgirl...:).Keep them coming.Go Perry.....
Let me tell you there are quite a few pics of Steve and Neal wearing the same shirts...take a look at the video "Still The One" they are both wearing the same kind of shirt...I think they might have exchanged clothes quite often. Thanks for the comment and Perry on!
nice video. i still dont think that neil even deserves sp back. sp can do fine on his own. they are such an amazing band. miss them but at least we will always have the music. lets hope for that solo cd. thanks for the video
Can't agree more. I will never give up hope because there is no Journey without Steve Perry. I have not and never will view any video or listen to any Journey song without (the voice).
That is partially true, Cant argue with that. But knowing Steve, he is already wealthy living on Royal income. He is earning millions so joining the band wouldnt make much of a difference. Besides, he is working producing music and seems fairly happy right now.
yeah it would be nice but the problem is, if I remember correctly, Steve is done with the Journey. I would love for him to go back with the Journey. If they would reunite then I would love to hear him sing again. I never been to his concert or anything like that. I would love to, one day!
some people are easily hurt. after losing his mother, girlfriend ,father and grandfather in short time span then to suffer a loss of his band-- yes i said his band because journey truly didn't become great until he joined.-- I think that was the straw that broke him. i believe he even took the blame for firing valory and smith as a cover for neal schon. who along with jon stabbed him in the back when he was down.
Steve has always said that he processes things differently than other people and I do believe that Steve is easily hurt and he did experience alot of losses in a short period of time. And I agree Journey did not become what they were until Steve joined....I think that is called biting the hand that feeds you.
A hidden gem, never got noticed the way it should have...please don't ever remove it....

I agree with you. They really did Steve wrong.
Dixie1947 4 years ago 3
I agree! A lot of bad things happened to him in a short period of time, the stress of it all must've been horrible.
Kerjo123 3 years ago
Never hurts to dream! It would be great if Neal could say it to Steve! You know, this is really sad..
