  • omg Seth needs to parody this so bad

  • guess Brawn isint a fan of Seth Green.

    lol

  • lol

  • "Aint no one going to call me a Robot Chicken!"

  • Lol, and about twenty years later it's the Transformers who are on Robot Chicken! XD

  • pwned

  • LOL @ 0:23

  • Robot spittle! =D

  • Could it be that this is where they might have gotten the idea for the show we know as "Robot Chicken"?

  • They got the name from a dish at a Chinese restaurant. I think it had peanuts.

  • Not according to Seth Green . He said he got the name from a restaurant in California .

  • Transformers predicts the future of cartoons! Incredible.

  • @Kaymac192 and movies evidently since Starscream had the high ground

  • I had never heard them say that before.

  • I never realized this was said

  • what episode is this?

  • This is Season one Episode 09

    Fire on the Mountain

  • Lol, when Windcharger gets shot, you'll see some green stuff coming out of his mouth!

  • Lol, Robot Chicken!!!

  • That made my day. xD

  • Robot Chicken prediction? More like a Robot coward to me.

  • Robot Chicken???????? Wtf!!!!!!!

  • ya ever wonder where they came up with the name for the show?

  • the creator's got the idea from a dish at an chinese returant Kung Pao Bistro

  • Brawn had a tendency to say some pretty funny stuff. I always felt that he was kinda like part the comic relief in The Transformers.

  • I just cant stop laughing...

  • I read the name "Robot Chicken" came from a Chinese food menu out west and that's what they named the show after. But still a pretty cool coincidence.

  • wow...think about this:

    chinese food+ robotic dog+ transformers =

    = Transforming chop-sway

  • Awesome find! Check out my homage to G1 if you get a chance.

  • Lol I thought this was about the show "Robot Chicken" this caught me when I least expect it lol!

  • when they meant by robot chicken they mean chicken like us we say ahahah your chicken bawk bawk ! bla bla bla .. but since there robots then u call them robot chicken... BUT seriouly that kinda funny though :D

  • hehehe!

  • is this for real? or just a fan made dubbing?

  • tubechango - yep, it's completely real, haha. i remember this scene from one of the episodes. :P

  • ajajajajaja that's kind of weird

  • It's for real. I have the episode. To be honest the name calling always has me dying from laughter. "Deceptibums!"

  • lol...i think it was better if after he saying that he isnt a robot chicken, they must put in a sound of a chicken

  • a disturbingly strange coincidence

  • Amazing! Now Robot Chicken Makes fun of The Transformers. Growing up back then in the 80's was a classic time. This clip is precious.

  • MourningNight, I agree about the cartoon shows being better than all the new Transformers cartoons. The element of having human kids telling the robots what to do completely disappoints my further interest in watching.

  • They made the shows so much better back then.

  • LMFAO Classic

  • omg memories i had this episode ona a movie

  • Um...Wtf?

  • wow. lol.

  • And hunter and mirage and wheeljack? what happen to them, they just vanished before the movie?

  • Was Mirage in the animated movie? I don't remember... god, I'm getting old.

  • no he wasnt,so i just wondered what happen before the movie to manny of the original autobots.

  • He wasn't in the film? That depresses me, Mirage is awesome. I know Cliffjumper accused Mirage of being a traitor, I thought that happened after the movie but I could be wrong. Maybe Wheeljack and the others were just taking a little break before their big-screen adventure? ;)

  • i missed some episodes b4 the movie. and te new autobots were a surprise for me too like ultra magnus and hot rod, from the moment the new series arrived iguess the audiences decreased. it was such a disapointment .. in my opinion some of the old episodes were far better than the movie itself.

like the episode where clffjumper had a litle quarrel with mirage.

well those were great years ..loved to wake up early back then

  • the 3 0f them died on the attack of autobot city in the movie.theres one scene they showed there corpses

  • LOL!!!

  • I recently saw this while watching my transformers DVDs and I was rather shocked. I assumed that this was where the name for the show came from. The chinese food thing is hilarious though.

  • first of all that is ironhide who gets shot

secondly i doubt that this was where the creators of robot chicken got the name of their show, i just thought it was a hillarious coincidence thanks for all of the views

  • Haaang on. Windcharger takes shot in the shoulder and (I presume) survives. Brawn (great in the cartoon, crap as a toy) takes a shot in the shoulder in the TF movie and is dead before he hits the floor. Ah well, such was the pressure from Hasbro to promote the newer toys.

  • Yeah it's funy how much crap these guys go through during the first two seasons, just to suddenly die off in the Movie. No one receives any drastic damage (except Starscream) yet none of them ever return again. I guess its just harder to survive when you're on a huge screen.

  • Dimes to dollars they took the title from this. They're huge TF fans.

  • Actually they've said quite often they took it from a Chinese take-out menu. "Robot Chicken" was the name of one of the dishes.

  • What makes for a better story? A classic clip that would be next to impossible to find, or some bizarre tale of a menu item called that?

Not to mention they don't have to deal with sketchy copyright issues with the restaurant...

  • It's not impossible to find. I have it on DVD and VHS, aside from the fact that chinese restaurants don't own the names of their food plates, seeing as how they're popular dishes in China.

  • Damn shame to see gears get shot like that.

  • That was Windcharger.

  • hmm I smell a lawsuit? ha of course not, good eye on the clip

  • ;laks;ldkaskpdoaposdpasd lol

  • lmaso

  • You know, I loved transformer growing up... but then you have to just go and do something messed up like this... and it makes me love them all the more! Way to do your research!

  • probably more coincidence, but still a very funny reference.

  • Lol they ended up on the show with the same name.

  • Har

  • Wow, Braun was so brave.

  • Is this how they came up with the name for the show?

  • i don't think so, because robot chicken references more than just transformers but i think it's a funny coincidence

  • @PartheniaProject Actually the creators of robot chicken were big transformers fans and according to reliable sources this is where they got the name for the show.

  • @JetfireandJetstorm12 I heard they got it from a Chinese resturant. also im not surprised they r TF fans since, lets face it, its a show made by nerds 4 nerds

  • @PartheniaProject The series name "Robot Chicken" is a quote derived from an episode of the original Transformers animated series first season.

According to Wikipedia, however I'm not sure it is 100% accurate and in the same article it is contradicted by another fact.

  • wahahahaha lol

  • I knew Transformers was awesome, I never knew they could prophesies.
