This boss wasn't difficult. I beat him within the first encounter, but I had all the roles maxed out on every character before i even went through the tunnel to get to Taejin's Tower. I had so much left over CP that I pretty much had a head start when my Crystarium expanded after defeating Barthandelus and before getting on the ship he leaves for you to go to Eden.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT YET @ CHAPTER 13 AND NEED FORTISOL OR ANY OTHER SOL'S , heres how you get them, you can get fortisol and augesol( idk how to spell it) by dismantling dr's code, if u dont have any, then try getting 0 stars on a battle by killing some time... i got deceptisol by doing that once. thumbs up for ppl to c... hope this helps

@KaibeeLPs my teams lightning fang and vanille light n van r permanent but i change out fang to snow hope etc whatever i need for the battleim at gran pulse got vanilles medic to lvl 4 lightning n fangs commando to 4 n other 2 role things r 3 im where u c the falcie that digs tunnels

this bastard is somewhat like the male version of anima but he isnt really hard he just has like one strong attack that owns!! LOL it's that tornado thing but i'll beat him tomorrow umm... 6/12/10 if I don't beat him tonight -_-

@darkavenger2464 No theirs another way to get them...i found out that when you go to upgrade you can dismantle doctors code and you get one fortisol and one aegisol...i hope it works cuz it worked for me

Yea, I'm about to sound like an Idiot but, How do you get some of the skills from other classes. I know how, but theyre not all there, this guy said he had Fang learn Imperil but at this point in the game I cant find it in her crystarium. I'm stuck with this guy -_- someone help plz?

Frankly, I'm surprised you killed him soo quickly.. Only doing around 1.5k a hit isn't very good at that point in the game... I was already doing around 4-4.5k and I had around 3k health. Maybe you didn't do any grinding?

@DeadShotMeteor no trust me i grinded for awhile, well i wouldnt reallt move on tull i got most of the ceith missins done, i kept doing them until i got to the harder oones that required me to beat the game.

@darkavenger2464 I see... I'm sure that now, at this point you've beaten all the missions? I got the game in mid March and beat it fairly quickly. I've already pretty much beaten all the missions.. the only one being, of course mission 65 (what a pain in the ass)

@DeadShotMeteor I'm saying that i did a lot of them, and i grinded until i at least maxed out 2 classes. and yea mission 64 is a bitch, you just got to use the right strategy and from what ive heard it was poison and sentinal ing

@darkavenger2464 The tactic I used was to poison and debuff the hell out of him. Once that was done, I just get his stagger as high as possible before he goes to his gay little barrier. I beat him not to long ago. I wish I had a capture card to show you guys. XD

Either way this was still a great video with nice quality dude. Don't think I'm trying to bring you down or anything XD

@DeadShotMeteor I was only doing little damage because he is strong against pyshcal attacks and i didnt libra him and i auto battle. it eventually auto libra for you over the time of the battle. thats also why ruin was doing more damage than my pyhsical attack.

@xmaverickxninjax not really... well i usaully just hit them once with a physical attack and then i use magic till hes staggered and the high the stagger bar the more damage you do so just keep using magic until he gets like 999 stagger bar and then go complete attack and youll do a shit load of damage...and im using gladius all the way powered up, i... didnt know how to ... transform weapons atm...

once you get your eidolon you gain one and then he went into the crystarium and leveled until he could get an extra atb!

no its the actual speed i beat him in...and no i dont have any item on that speeds it up either, the items i have on raise hopes magic and raise their health and strength

Well, couldn't you just use Sazh and Hope to counteract that fortisol-lessness? They both buff you up fast and Sazh can be a damn good commando and Hope is a decent ravager...

@darkavenger2464 @darkavenger2464 @darkavenger2464 I just tried the boss with Hope, Sazh, and Lightning (controllable) and beat the boss FAST with their buffs. Just start out with 2 synergists and lightning as a healer and make other paradigms from there, wait for all the buffs (or at least have haste, bravery, and faith) and then switch to offensive paradigms. It takes longer than the video but I managed to take him down easily with Sazh and Hope since I didn't have fortisol...

I'm really stuck, i dont know how but my characters only have 2000-3000 health, and yours all have 4000 or so. plus im doing like 800 damage per attack... and neither sazh or hope have haste... wtf can i do?

@Stigmatic93 i dont think you can, all you can do i guess is make sure that there main 3 classes are at max (lvl 4 at this point) and have a synergist buff you up at the beggining of the battle

You can't get them at this point. In Ch. 12 or 13, you unlock a store that sells them for 10,000 Gil a piece. For now though, you just have to find them. I don't think they're are that many in this chapter though.

i have the same problem as KinderellaMusic. What will getting cp help me with.. im maxed out on lvl 4 paradigms and cant go any further

@7omgnoway ok question then do you have maxed out lvl 4 on there other three . at this point i had each character maxed out on at least 2 classes and almost the third. for instance i had lightnings medic and comando class maxed out and ahalf way done with ravager.. and the same with snow and hope just different classes maxed out

I only have one class of each of my characters maxed out, but i have alot of cp's (at least 150k)

Ok i just think i realized that if i get a hp+100 (for example) on a ravager class and i use a commander class it will still work. maybe thats why everyone's hp is so high...?

@KinderellaMusic i would say just go back to the lowerworld wilds and do most of the ceith stone missiions there or just keep doing one mission that is easy for you and keep getting cp to level up

right before the battle you use the shroud fortisol. hope also learns it after you beat Brathandolues the second time

prolly used a fortisol or some status effect before the battle started.
