Um just to make it clear darker colored saddles are back in now and a cherry colored saddle is absolutely fine for local shows. : )

@aqhalover94 darker colored is for more fine breeds, they use darker saddles to stand out...thats what Eva Haron does on her horse Good Luck Wrapper. (won the congress many times, including 3 year old wp.) but darker colored saddles are starting to come back, but most people are sticking with light

Any real leather colored saddle would be fine, It doesnt really matter as long as the saddle isnt black or some outragously dyed leather color.
