@johnnyseafarer Next to nothing. People don't want organs anymore (unless they're classic Hammond B3's, etc.). Most people have to pay junk removers to come to their homes to get these old organs out.
You sound like Alex Lifeson of Rush. Are you in Toronto?
I have a Yamaha B4cr Electone that is a very usable organ! For an apartment size organ it has plenty of features including Reverb, real rotating leslie, beats w/ a balance control, good flutes. Sounds great.
Would get free D80-u-th, but got Wurltz 625T $100! inA1!
I never thought that D-80 already used the solid state tremolo - because as far as I know even the D-85 still has a (built-in) rotary speaker (not sure anymore though - it's been years back).
For its age the D-80 has still remarkably very clear sound - or is it thanks to your excellent video mic ?
In any case thanks for this tour video on the YAMAHA D-80! Great work!
Cool vid Rob ! I still have possesion of a D65 which I have owned since I was 16, thats 25 years ago lol. It's at my dad's place and it hasn't been played for years. Looking at that beauty makes me want to go round and have a bash on it !! Thanks for sharing !

How is the action on the keys?
mastashaker916 1 year ago
@mastashaker916 Typical Yamaha - lighter than a Hammond waterfall keyboard.

@ElectonePlayer D-80 has a built-in rotary speaker. The TM-5 tone cabinet has the electronic simulated tremolo.

It;s really a good vintage organ

how does it sound without the tm5 tone cabinet
ultrablaze 2 years ago
It also sounds good without the TM5. The organ has a built-in, belt-driven, Leslie-style speaker. The TM-5 adds a lot of wattage.
