muchas gracias por introducirme a este músico catalán perseguido por Franco, Roberto Gerhard. This piece beautifully leads me to Spanish dances and folklore. I am specially fond of the first minutes of the second movement, the Interludi, so beautiful, like a flowing moorish river...(the molinos and the intense blue sky of La Mancha, of course, speak of El Caballero de la Triste Figura "The gentleman of the sad figure" as Don Quijote was named)
