Blimey I wish I had watched this before trying. Just finally finished it in 4 portals but I threw the cube by swinging my mouse and pressing E. It took a hell of a lot of attempts

****For those who are having trouble throwing the cube**** CLICKING (instead of E) will allow you to throw the cube. With that said, I find it much easier to just leave the cube in the upper platform and jump to the lower one. Hope this helps.

It's frustrating on the console version when you don't know how to do it. I worked out how to do it though..Jump straight up in the air as high as you possibly can with the A button. Make sure your aiming pretty high up in the air..then tap the right trigger.

Does one trigger work better than another? I was trying to do this for an hour and a half with left trigger, and got absolutely nowhere. Then I tried right trigger, and got it first try.

I'll try to throw the cube to the super colliding super button but it wont stay on, it will bounce right off.

TO do that throw is fairly easy. Move foward and jump then Left or Right click and press backwards. Using 'E' to drop doesn't work anywhere near as well. Clicking shoots it out just a little bit :).

right trigger? there is no throw command, and they dont mention in the game either...there's no way to throw that far. right trigger is red portal.

They obviously don't mention it in the game, but when you hold something, right trigger allows you to throw. I can't remember now, but I think you have to jostle yourself a bit to throw it further.

thats only with the gravity gun, the portal gun can only pick up and drop.

to throw it he just runs and drops it and it goes flying

No, geniuses. Wotabota is right. Nonamesam is partially right, mostly wrong. Right trigger when you're holding something throws it, not PUNTS it, as the G-Gun does. Howeva, you do need to get a running start first to throw it that far.
