You can create a menu in photoshop, and then import that psd file as a menu (ctrl-shift-i) Then you can select the layer for say button 1, and press ctrl b to convert that to a button.
@ratkins0687 Let me elaborate and explain. According to the very reliable Urban Dictionary, Sucks can be defined as "when something is a bit downheartening or lame" or "is not good. is, in fact, bad". Now seeing as how I have the right to my opinion, and you absolutely have the right to yours, I believe it is best if we do not spend countless hours debating whether or not your tutorial did indeed "suck".
@fourorthree make up your mind. Is it four or three?
And thanks for pointing out the pause button. I now understand everything there is to know about watching a YouTube video. This this valuable piece of information. I plan on taking over The YouTube by simultaneously enabling the so called "pause button", that you have so kindly pointed out to me, on all YouTube videos, rendering all videos virtually useless. I will then proceed to demand a large sum of money. Please don't tell anybody though.
@fourorthree Perhaps I am boring. And perhaps you are a Chinese woman who wears sombrero's when she's feeling depressed. The fact is, I don't know the truth, and that is simply because we do not know each other.
You went a little too fast... I got confused right at the beginning because your meny had a background graphic to it, which mine doesn't get when I press "new menu" so how did you do that? Plus, I want to do square buttons, how to?
@Protoman85 Well first make sure you have the template files on your hard drive. Secondly, there are other tutorials on how to get the particular buttons you are looking for. This video was simply to teach how to make a basic one.
OHHH MY GODDD. Is there NOTHING that tells you how to ACTUALLY burn the DvD so it plays in DvD players? EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGGSGGFGHFDGJHFGJ is about making a menu. I just need to put a DvD in and have it play. FUUUUQQQQ.
Everyone, Adobe has obviously released CS4 and now CS5. I no longer support CS3 and have moved to Apple Final Cut Studio. If you still need help with CS3 there are many tutorials online on Adobe's website as well as other videos
@Dammnation I moved to Final Cut mainly because it has much more versitality with working in HD. Premiere Pro still lacks support for many codecs. When I used CS3 for a majority of my stuff, it did not support ProRess 422 material, nor AVCHD.
The Adobe applications are also slower in performance then with Final Cut, but with the recent CS5 release, I believe it has support for 64 bit processors. Now, After Effects and Motion are both memory hogs. It was a personal choice really.
Nice! I was trained in DVD Studio Pro but am trying to learn Encore. This was a little jump that I was looking for. Do you have anything on using other adobe programs such using photoshop to create buttons for encore? Any info is appreciated.
hey .... can you make a tutorial that has several small motion video trailers such as ... chapeter 1 - with small trailer then chapter 2-small video etc etc ???

@ratkins0687 I believe he is referring to a work flow tutorial, i recommend CS5 though since it fixed those pesky bugs CS4 has.
