I have not heard of this poem by Keats either and it does not sound like him but who knows. I will try and find out more but it really does not matter too much as it is beautiful in it's own right. Thankyou for bringing here something very different.

John Keats was a genius at poetry,his poems were full of emotion.Havent written a poem in awhile but when i watched the movie and heard ''Were beauty cannot keep her lustrous eyes''I thought were the hell did he think of that .Beautiful like all his poems,his words just move you.If i could think of more words to describe him i would,he was just brillant

Can you please tell me where you found this poem? Is it included in a book as I cannot find it anywhere on the internet apart from a wordpress blogspot called 'luminita56'. Typing in the words doesn't produce any results, very strange that a Keats poem is not there. It doesn't seem in the style of Keats but it is beautiful nevertheless.

I first read this Poem at school and thought it simple - and years later it still is Beautifuly Simple and Yet very profound - I think he had such an insight into The Human Condition.
