  • Those FL chan arent Headbanging :o

  • is thrash metal ¬¬ .. you need learn more

  • It's a real guitar

  • Hi man! You Rocks! Nice riffs and chords, I produce metal with the same way,

Take a look - Capetonis Infernatus - Out of Ammo.

    Congratulations man! Nice work.

  • Only thing I have to say this doesn't necessarily follow traditional Death Metal i.e. Death/ Cannibal corpse. This is Melody Ridden like Power metal just thrashier. Great Piece though Good Job Man.

  • Is this all done with samples?

  • yo a little advice comin from a drummer...wen ur usin the crash cymbl 4 accents like that u gota use the kik drum wit the crash hits

  • Sounds Straight !

  • you used a pre-amp?

  • sounds more like thrash..slow thrash..

  • @kevinkuypers Oh I thought u werr saying the song was trash I was all like >:(

  • Drums could be a little more dominant, but sounds cool so far. Keep up the work dude. Greetings from Germany

  • Nice !

  • Pretty Cool Man :3 keep up the good work :D

  • IZ NOT DEATH METAL \m/

  • @DjKloport autentic death trash metal

  • Great song !!!!

  • Hi!! how i to have this song in FL?? help me pease thanks!! -excuse m my bad english-

  • very nice......yeah how the fook did u record guitar with fl studio??? im using the ministry of rock plugin for midi keyboard sound good but a can play guitar better........cheak out my channel just put a few little tunes on what i made.

  • @metalled666 I checked out your channel, your stuff sounds pretty good for being synthesizer music! But yea, drums can be replicated nicely with MIDI but a real guitar and bass always sound better than a synth.

I've used a number of things over the years - clean guitar tones, recording through an interface, then through a mixer, Line 6 gearbox, freeware plugins, and now I own Guitar Rig 4 which is the best thing I've ever used for guitar and bass but I don't have any videos with it yet.

  • please tell me how you are recording guitar into fl studio, i have fl 9 xxl ive gone straight into the program through a boss gt 10 processor , fl reads it but i cant hear anything do you know what i could be doing wrong or tell me what to I need to accomplish what you have done ....thanks Jason

  • @sephiralth666 You can't hear anything?? I have no clue where you are at, but you need ASIO4ALL drivers, select the drivers for audio input and output and open the ASIO panel, choose the boss device, open the fruity mixer board, select a mixer track other than the master, then on the top right corner choose an audio input from the boss device and record audio into Edison or the playlist window. That's pretty much it. Sounds to me like you aren't selecting the input on the mixer.

  • @sephiralth666 You can always export a drum beat and use audacity to record it while listening to the drum beat to keep in time before exporting to FL and adding effects.... thats what ido- as my fl 9 is screwed up ;)

  • @sephiralth666 Hey recording guitar In Fl studio is a Pain in the ass. I've used Fl to make a beat then send it as a WAV over to Protools to record and mix. just works better that way.

  • @sephiralth666 YOu should use an fx channel and set input from soundcard (line in or mic) from the upper right part of the fx windows. You need ASIO drivers and fl producer edition. Lower version I think do not allow to record audio.

  • Moar FL Dance than my body has room for.

  • will you ever make this song availbalbe for download? i'd like to have it on my mp4.. (:

  • @XxJamesJawsxX fuck u dumb fuck

  • Comment removed

  • sick!!!!!

  • fy fan vad värdelöst! :'(

  • @gudn1 lol sug dase mannen

  • i like it :)

  • sick riff!

  • Najs!

  • Too much bass in kick drum and toms man. Try cutting the mids for more metal sound.

  • Wait, this... this is a real guitar, isn't it?

  • @Eichro YES.

  • @sedativechunk So your not using slayer or anything like that?

Damn it, I want to get that guitar sound but I can't record guitar.

  • @ThePatrikkka It's real guitar recordings, and now I use real bass recordings too and have an awesome new drum machine (although I haven't uploaded any videos of it in the past 4 months, I've been crafting some new sounds out of it).

I spent years crafting the perfect guitar tones for metal music. Everything from rhythm verses to multiple guitars playing, there is a different sound. I'm trying to craft a new style of music with electronic drums and sounds and heavy guitar and bass tones..

  • @sedativechunk can you record the E-guitar via FL9 (or 8)? or do you overdub the two tracks?

  • Can you tell me whitch plugins did you use?

  • Nice job. I'm still tryin to figure out how to optimize the guitar that well. And it does sound like some shit outta doom. Nice work!

  • sedativechunk fuck all them, man this shit is bad ass dude I LIKE IT, i put it on at least once a day good fuckin job bro.

  • how can you prove this is not a background sample the whole time?!

  • I'm not sure what you mean by background sample but if you don't think I made this I attached a zip with the FL project file and all of the master recordings.

Anyone here is free to download the song and dissect it. Some people wanted to here improved drums, well here is your chance to improve them yourself!

  • Personally i think that you could've been able to make the song sound more "heavy" by taking off the part (0:05-0:06) and the ones after that, replace the splash-thingy with crash or not use that part so often because it comes like every 5 seconds and it's ruining the feeling of the song. 0:42 - 1:00 you're not using it and to me it sounds much more better. Death metal is also pretty agressive so you could've usen different drum fills. But hey, thats just my opinion, nice job man.

  • Nice input and you are right about that little drum fill that breaks the flow of the song, I never really even noticed that until now. Back when I made this, I was still pretty new with drum beats and I pretty much crammed this together with any random drum pieces.

Now I have a full MIDI interface and a good drum machine for realistic drums (plus I learned how to play real drums a little). I was considering remaking this song but I would rather focus on new projects with a better beat!

  • Nice tune man!

  • Wow, really cool!

WHY oh WHY are people commenting saying 'buuhuu, this is not death metal but trash metal, buu'

What is the difference? How about enjoying and commenting the song instead of its genre

  • Exactly, who gives a damn. I just title is as is, it's not written in the damn bible what genre it should be!

  • as stated before more thrash than death metal.reminds me of megadeth's symphony of destruction.

the first solo/break/thing just after :20 was cool, i think you could of expanded more and made it a main solo. i am a fan of those kind of arpeggios. add some diminished ones in there. you throw a kind of punk-ish curveball in that part with the non-muted power chords [just after the 1 minute mark] come to think of it, those sound an awful lot like the ones used in my name is jonas.

    anyway 5*

  • this is crossfire music haha :P

but its not death its thrash

    BUT!!! good job haha

  • o som é bom

    mas nunca foi death metal..

  • Really, not death metal.

  • This is not Death Metal.. Not at all.. Thrash, Maybe. I'm not saying its bad. Its just not Death Metal. Good Job tho..

  • That can't be the Fruity Loops Guitar because I heard wammy bar in there, but that doesn't take away frum the fact that that's a beasty beat. O.K. yes it does but only a little.

  • You are correct, it is a real guitar and not FL Studio! The slayer guitar synth in FL Studio sucks. The whole purpose of me getting into recording music was so I could record my guitar.

Beings this video is popular I think I am going to re-record this song this time with my drum machine and real bass recordings. I would also like to slap on an improved solo at the end.

  • hell yeah this is bad ass!!!

  • nice song gud job

  • This is more late 80's, early 90's thrash.

  • hahaha totally see myself blastin up shit with this in the background!!! :D:D:D:D 2:16 u come across a bigger enemy or somethin! :D:D

  • Is that a real guitar? or did u use a VSTi

  • good shit

  • TheCompulsionToKill, fuck you. He didn't say that the death metal song was from the 2000! Lick my balls, please.

  • very awesome song man! i've made a couple song too. i recorded the guitars and made the drums with FL Studio 8. check it out if you want... but really! this was a well done song :)

  • Thanks! I will check out your songs now.

  • amazing

  • this is def not death metal. maybe like late 80's er 90's metal

  • there was a lot of death metal in the 90's lol

  • ok well it is not wut i was expecting and the drums sound poopish but that aint ur fault

  • Yea, it's not really geared towards being death metal. You be correct in saying 90's metal. I got the idea for the song when someone was over my house playing the original DOOM on Xbox Live Arcade. This track I made I think fits the game's style of music perfect.

  • yeah i see wut ur talking about, me and my friend christian luv the original doom man

  • hey sedativechunk how and where did you get the guitar sound???

  • ... could you record the solos then use FL to speed them up? I know it makes more sense and is more genuine to actually play as much as possible, but you are using an editor anyway, right? ...wow wish I was a software developer AND played cool music XD

  • Believe me when I say I've tried doing that! It's way to obvious that you "cheated" to play the solo. Record at a slower tempo and then fit that recording to the main tempo. You can tell it's cheated. I've never tried doing single note recordings for a solo but that's extremely time consuming.

I program everything from games to software. Last week I actually experimented with VST programming with Java but it didn't work so well, I may do a full blown C++ based VST if I can find the framework!

  • use Addictive drums, then it's pretty good...

and put the drums lower. or the guitars louder.

    otherwise it's pretty great.

  • I have quite a few new songs on the way that are much better than this. This was my first real attempt at a complete metal song.

My new stuff uses drumkit from hell, real bass, and real guitar recordings. The only thing holding me back is the solo's. I've written some nice solo's but can't play them full speed yet to record!

  • First second of the song I thought "this sounds so much like Doom!", and the second after, I noticed you mentioned Doom in the description :p

  • es mas impresionante la bateria del guiatr pro!!! mm!! vere si pueden trabajar juntos "guitar pro y frutiloops"!!!!

  • el FL tiene todos los sonidos de bateria que pueda haber.

  • Fruity Loops ^^

  • Yes, Fruity Loops is awesome. The only thing I don't like it for is recording bass, it gets very staticy!

  • This is very good. But I don't have a guitar (nor do I know how to play it), so I'm stuck with synths (Slayer2) - I don't ever use loops. Check my video response. I definitely need to do something about the drums (they are from some soundfont library i found on the net).

  • For drums, you DEFINITELY need EZ Drummer with the Drumkit from hell addon. It's the most realistic drum program I've ever used. Now I have realistic drums, guitar, and I just started learning/recording some bass lines.

You definitely got the right idea for your song, I checked out the video. I'm in the thinking process of developing a guitar synthesizer better than slayer with real guitar recordings people can use. I'm a software developer so I could pull off making my own VST plugins for FL.

  • Good luck with that ! It's really hard to make available plugins and synths sound like the real thing.

  • Thanks! My biggest concern is things like tempo and so on, I'm not sure how to make a plugin work with MIDI but there has to be a way.

  • FL seems to be crap when it comes to metal, but this is well done.

  • cool stuff man 5/5

  • hey.. good shit man!!!

just curious what did you use to record your

    guitar into fl studio?

  • wow that's great!!! if i could pla guitar like that i would record my shit to. but i can't so i'm resampling loops.. check out m video response

  • Pretty repetitive, but great metal piece, especially for FL studio. It's scary sometimes how people think the FLslayer is a good substitute for a real guitar. You should definitely look into some other drum samples. I suggest the DFH from toontrack. Great metal drum kit there.

  • Thanks, for that comment! I will check out that drum program, thanks for giving me the name of that drum program, I've been looking into something more realistic for drums. Tomorrow I may be getting a bass for recording as well and too learn another instrument.

FL Slayer is crap, although I've heard some amazing guitar synthesizers that sound excellent for techno and trance (Jupiter one Countdown Remix is worth checking out). Real guitar sounds the best for rock and metal, though!

  • It is a good substitute if you do not have the time to learn or have friends that can already play. But yeah, it is not a good substitute.

  • Eh, I don't have the skill or time to learn guitar and I would never use the slayer. (I did before, but not so much anymore.) I have other things now that are much greater. Second best only to actual guitars, I think.

  • how did you made the guitars,... they are amazing!... I can`t believe this is fruity loops.

    Please tell me :-D

  • They are real guitar recordings done by me. I use the Line 6 Toneport UX2. It's a USB recording interface that allows you to record guitar, bass, and vocals into your PC via any music software that supports audio input! The UX2 act's as your PC's default sound card driver when plugged in - all sound from you PC goes out and into through the device. It's really nice. There's cheaper versions of the Toneport Interface with just the guitar input for under $100 dollars.

  • Fucking sick

  • dude, let's see you manage this, you'll rarely find anyone not already producing even doing half as good as this.

    /

    5 stars.

  • It's more thrash than death metal.

  • sounds nice...

  • really awesome!

  • Yep. If your using a real guitar, just set the audio driver to your recording interface. You can also use the guitar synthesizer, although I like my real guitar better :)

  • GREAT WORK!!! Funny idea with fruity dance xD I like it, the solos are awesome! Wish I could play that way^^ How long do you play guitar?

  • AMAZING
