@Adwnis46 No, it doesn't have the same effect. The effect of Divine Shield is that it makes you completely immune to everything for 12 seconds. The effect of the proc of this trinket is that it absorbs 200 damage.

With the paladins "blast" the reason it looks fiery is because one of the mage npc's used flame strike ontop of him/her. But i have to admit it looks cool.

The Paladan "Blast" is called Consecration but the fire you saw in the video was Flamstrike, Mage's can learn it at lvl 14 or 16 i think, but no, its not a Paladin spell.

It's a world drop, buy it off the AH.

Note that it's only effective when you have a lot of things attacking you for very small amounts. Against things that hit hard, even when it does proc, it only absorbs a tiny fraction of a hit.

The only problem whit us paladins is that out taunt spell has a 15 min cooldown. So one on one tanking I think Warriors win, but when there are meny mobs involved we (paladins) are beter due to our AoE and block threat.

Righteous Defense has a 15 second cooldown, not 15 minute. It is annoying, but isn't too important since people shouldn't be pulling aggro anyway, quite a lot of things are untauntable, and any boss fights with a taunting gimmick (Nalorakk, Brutallus, etc) need to be taunted much less often than that.

I want to reply on that. I think Paladin's can be great tankers, but you really need some kick ass gear to beat a warrior with that. Warriors can hold better agro, because PERFECT tanking for a paladin costs alot of mana, which means alot of drinking. That's why people rather choose for a warrior or druid, because they can hold better agro. BUT I have a pally tank aswell, I actually prefer a pally tank because they do a great amount of damage aswell, compared to warriors and druids.

You just need the right level of gear for the encounter. Most level 70 tankadins only have a 4K to 5K mana pool. A drink that restores 7200 mana refills that quickly. Paladins do not want to be over-geared for the fight because they need to take damage as paladins recover mana when they are healed. Paladin tanking excels at AoE aggro generation allowing the dps to use their AoE attacks. This results in a fast clear of most fight. See this video for a demo: /watch?v=PXpjYHkW4gc
