The 2 shows do have some, but seeing as the Star Gate franchise has more hours of television, it technically has more explosions. There are guns, so you can't say there aren't fights. Lightsabers are unrealistic? They are always developing plasma beams, similar to lightsabers but much bigger. Ion engines are already on ships (TIE stands for Twin Ion Engine), being able to move fake arms and legs through brain signals is already being improved, and plasma windows are made and being improved everyday. Star Wars is a film series of 8 movies and 2 shows that have both come out on Cartoon Network (Another show on the works, Live Action show of between ep 3 and 4).
There's nothing against debating a mostly show sci-fi to a mostly movie series.
There is greater deepth to Stargate because is along running series, it is capable of creating its own universe using original Earth history. That makes it more believable than a series of movies with plot holes the size of galaxies like Star Wars. Star wars might have fun, exciting adventure but it will never match any other series in overall storyline quality. Also, the original idea of Stargate is an actual theory about the potentially lost civilizations that might have existed on Earth.
I really wouldn't say "galaxy-sized plotholes" even sarcastically. Lucas is filling a lot of the holes up. As it turns out....there are books of Star Wars. They range from thousands of years before episode 1 to between each individual episode, to many years after. The time Lucas hasn't filled in is between ep2 1 and 2 (which some author probably did for him) and between eps 3 and 4 (but his new show will fill that in).
Sorry, I should have mentioned the B Movie Casting instead, it took a lot away from enjoying the story. I can see haw your argument cna be defended, is better late than never to make up for lost time. I only wished that he could forget about the overdone Clone Wars and sett up something like Star wars Chronicles filling up the gaps in the films. Also at least two films each about both the Old Republic and the New Republic after the defeat of the Empire could be nice. Please, get better actors.

Well, I sort of don't work for Lucasfilm, so I can't choose the people Lucas makes an actor. For Lucas' track record of getting actors, he hasn't done a bad thing. Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson, even John Ratzenburger is in episode 5. James Earl Jones and Billy Dee Williams as well.

The Klingons do have an attitude problem and I was just demonstrating how a Mandalorian would deal with that. Honestly the Mandalorians are up there with the Yatja (The Predator) in my opinion. Indeed, but Anubis was unkillable essentially, while Palpatine was quite mortal. He's not someone to be taken lightly, but he won't be able to do that much to influence a battle due to his physical constraints. Plus if the ship he's on is destroyed, there isn't much he can do about it. He has wickedness and great powers that make him formidable face to face, essentially he has his limits and those can be taken advantage of. I'd say it would be a good matchup, neither side would be a pushover.
The training of both of the land armies is mostly unsourcable, and I can't tell which would be superior. Their energy weapons are both heavily inaccurate though, but the staff's give more of a kick when they do make that hit. I wouldn't say the Jaffa aren't Vetrans though, they live far longer and their entire culture and lives are manipulated to train them for battle, but I suppose the same could be said of the troopers. Neither side is lacking in combat experience as demonstrated.
You do realise the Goa'uld moved Stargates around, right? They put them on thier motherships and moved then to more desirable planets as they wished. And travelling around the Galaxy is easy, heck they can go intergalactic, interstellar is easy. They don't need the stargates to attack worlds; they sent a fleets to Earth from thousands of lightyears away, arriving within hours. Their society is fuedal and slow to build up an army, but once it is ready it can strike with great speed.
The System Lord Anubis had his own planet destroying mothership, that took on a fleet of about 15 regular motherships and destroyed half of them. Plus throwing a stargate into a sun would wipe out the whole solar system, planet killing is easy as pie. And the Goa'uld had several thousand Jaffa on Chulak alone, I'd say it's a gross misunderstimation to say a few thousand at most, hundreds of occupied worlds. Even the Kull Warriors were more numerous than that conservative estimate.
Just as a counterpoint, we have seen some Hatak's travel between galaxies in a matter of hours, it is unusual but I wouldn't give the Starwars ships the certain advantage of speed. With a ZPM or Asgard/Ancient/Replicator implimented hyperdrives, intergalactic travel is possible on even simple things like shuttles that normally travel only twice the speed of light. The Star Destroyers aren't necessarily faster.
The movie took place on one other world. The series rewrote the story to make it so there were many worlds, and many of the 'bosses' (i'm too lazy to go into details)..and eventually, access to other galaxies as well.
If you say John Williams music is like a music for little kid(cartoon music), then I would hate to know what you think non-cartoon music is. Besides, you are only listening to one of the many songs from the same composer.

You are very right.
However, Voyager & Enterprise, while decent were also as weak as the last two Next Generation movies & the first two STAR WARS prequels.
However, I felt like more imagination went into STAR WARS prequels although Star Trek was around long before WARS.
Episode 3, though as bad as the acting & dialogue is, is still pretty epic although the Originals can never be touched.
Trek 2009 is better then the Prequels though

The 2 shows do have some, but seeing as the Star Gate franchise has more hours of television, it technically has more explosions. There are guns, so you can't say there aren't fights. As for being one in many, Star Gate fans are kind of the opposite, they hardly announce they are an SG fan, and never show it. I don't even see many conventions about it.

Lightsabers are unrealistic? They are always developing plasma beams, similar to lightsabers but much bigger. Ion engines are already on ships (TIE stands for Twin Ion Engine), being able to move fake arms and legs through brain signals is already being improved, and plasma windows are made and being improved everyday. Many tech in Star Wars is coming reality.

Star Gate is a series and has movies.
Star Wars is a film series of 8 movies and 2 shows that have both come out on Cartoon Network (Another show on the works, Live Action show of between ep 3 and 4).

There is greater deepth to Stargate because is along running series, it is capable of creating its own universe using original Earth history. That makes it more believable than a series of movies with plot holes the size of galaxies like Star Wars. Star wars might have fun, exciting adventure but it will never match any other series in overall storyline quality. Also, the original idea of Stargate is an actual theory about the potentially lost civilizations that might have existed on Earth.

I really wouldn't say "galaxy-sized plotholes" even sarcastically. Lucas is filling a lot of the holes up. As it turns out....there are books of Star Wars. They range from thousands of years before episode 1 to between each individual episode, to many years after. The time Lucas hasn't filled in is between ep2 1 and 2 (which some author probably did for him) and between eps 3 and 4 (but his new show will fill that in).

Sorry, I should have mentioned the B Movie Casting instead, it took a lot away from enjoying the story. Indeed, but Anubis was unkillable essentially, while Palpatine was quite mortal. He's not someone to be taken lightly, but he won't be able to do that much to influence a battle due to his physical constraints. Plus if the ship he's on is destroyed, there isn't much he can do about it. He has wickedness and great powers that make him formidable face to face, essentially he has his limits and those can be taken advantage of. I'd say it would be a good matchup, neither side would be a pushover.

The training of both of the land armies is mostly unsourcable, and I can't tell which would be superior. Their energy weapons are both heavily inaccurate though, but the staff's give more of a kick when they do make that hit. I wouldn't say the Jaffa aren't Vetrans though, they live far longer and their entire culture and lives are manipulated to train them for battle, but I suppose the same could be said of the troopers. Neither side is lacking in combat experience as demonstrated.

You do realise the Goa'uld moved Stargates around, right? They put them on thier motherships and moved then to more desirable planets as they wished. And travelling around the Galaxy is easy, heck they can go intergalactic, interstellar is easy. They don't need the stargates to attack worlds; they sent a fleets to Earth from thousands of lightyears away, arriving within hours. Their society is fuedal and slow to build up an army, but once it is ready it can strike with great speed.

The System Lord Anubis had his own planet destroying mothership, that took on a fleet of about 15 regular motherships and destroyed half of them. Plus throwing a stargate into a sun would wipe out the whole solar system, planet killing is easy as pie. And the Goa'uld had several thousand Jaffa on Chulak alone, I'd say it's a gross misunderstimation to say a few thousand at most, hundreds of occupied worlds. Even the Kull Warriors were more numerous than that conservative estimate.

Just as a counterpoint, we have seen some Hatak's travel between galaxies in a matter of hours, it is unusual but I wouldn't give the Starwars ships the certain advantage of speed. With a ZPM or Asgard/Ancient/Replicator implimented hyperdrives, intergalactic travel is possible on even simple things like shuttles that normally travel only twice the speed of light. The Star Destroyers aren't necessarily faster.

The movie took place on one other world. The series rewrote the story to make it so there were many worlds, and many of the 'bosses' (i'm too lazy to go into details)..and eventually, access to other galaxies as well.

although I see two things it can improve on
1. enimies: the wraith see too much like a sci-fi horror gone wrong (still pretty evil)
2. humor: sheppard isn't as funny as o'neill was. (but pretty funny) i.e oneil talking to asgard in "small victories," "I dunno carter, you might not be dumb enough." vs Sheppard in "the ark", talking to ronon"when we fry in te atmosphere, I'll fight you"
