@xraptor10 cause, theres still the 5 note limit, and the limits on anything higher than 4/4ths time, changing the sounds is only a small part.

Not as good as Levus's (Considering the custom soundset), but considering this preempts Levus's attempt and actually sounds good at it anyway.

If only you knew just how hard it was to MAKE this custom soundset. This version is nearly an exact replica of the song. It doesn't sound good, it sounds perfect.

Of course, Levus amazed me with his version of the song just as much as Fried's did, and considering the way the 2 made it, they impressed me equally.

Fried with his amazing custom soundfont-making skills, and Levus with his mastery of the original soundfont.

This is a souped up version of mario paint composer that you can download from the internet. The one on the actual game is a lot more basic without some of the sound options.

Okay, got it. My request will be the "Comrades" medley from Dragon Quest IV DS - that is, Ragnar's theme, Alena's theme, Torneko's theme, Maya's dance/battle theme, and the sisters' theme, bookended by the Intermezzo to start and end it. As performed by orchestras on some other videos here, it's nearly 10 minutes long and quite intricate.

Telling you this again : your custom soundfont is very impressive. It hardly sound different from the OST. Nice job!

About the notes, they are all perfectly pitched and although the instruments seem to have some effects themselves, the volume control is really well used.

It's indeed very awesome, but I think that the challenge in making this soundfont, although I'm sure was really hard, can't be compared to an original SF rendition. Still an amazing work though : 5/5 + favorite. ^_^
