This makes me ashamed to say im from Lee County.An old friend of mine was in there for violation of probation & after being told what meds he takes for his mental disorder they ignored it & kept the meds from him for days. He was left alone in the shower for 15 mins, when he should have been on suicide watch,& hung himself. He was revived &is now in a rehab center where he will most likely be the rest of his life with severe brain damage.He is only 26.SAME JAIL! This place needs to be shut down!

To suggest that the pipeline would do anything at all to reduce our dependence on foreign oil is asinine. The entire purpose of it is to PUMP FOREIGN OIL. Did you perhaps fail to notice that Canada is a foreign nation? Also, the oil would be brought to Texas for refining, but that doesn't mean Americans would get the gasoline. It would be loaded onto tankers and shipped abroad for sale on the world market.
