I like both games, but AC is definitely better, especially when HAWX seems to think you need someone to tell you how to fly the thing. That irritates. That said, AC 6 was a letdown, far too few planes.

assistance off mode was a blast in hawx,  everything was fluid. again multiplayer in flight games usually isnt worth it but it was fun in hawx every once in a while, unfortunatly people think dogfight missiles take skill but its the same as the ace combat quaam

I like both, but there are things I really dont like about both of them. One main thing is the planes. Ace Combat 6 pales in comparison to the amount of planes that HAWX has; also the use of support abilities and flares was a big plus for HAWX. On the other hand, story mode and mission mode for HAWX was ok, so I felt that Ace Combat had a better story and mission mode.

I like both games, but I personally wish that the storylines were better and more believable. The only storyline that I truly liked was Ace Combat Zero. Basically that game had a message: War affects both sides emotionally in different ways, and, ultimately, for those who fight them there are no winners. Only warriors with eternal scars.

Hawx is ok but pales in comparison to ac6, almost every mission in hawx if u pay close attention turns out to be a defense mission and in hawx they cant even get the sense of speed right, i think the older ace combats from ps1 and ps2 are better than hawx, but anyway who cares now because ace combat assault horizon is coming out and it they just unveiled one teaser trailer and it already looks better than hawx 2

Originally when I saw he title I was thinkin "this might not be good" lol, it was funny! Ya I hated Bandai for jumping on the 360 bandwagon, it should be on PS3!!! AC 5 was by far and still is the best in the series in my opinion, many missions, 4 wingman, powerful story. AC 6 just really had more cutscenes, and Allied suppor which replaced disperse and special weapons...though 2bh I'm not sure which I like more

I agree with the fuhrer. Bamco will pay the price for screwing their AC hardcore fans over, combined with even making AC06 a shitty game. They're gonna have to try hard now if they want to redeem themselves to hardcore AC fans.

Don't buy AC06 if Bamco decides to port it to the PS3 without adding a lot of interesting features. They should be punished for their laziness, and we as good consumers, should always have expectations.

Frankly, that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it just as I'm entitled to mines. I loved HAWX, and had no regrets buying it as a replacement for AC 06 because it had more freedom of gameplay to it than Ace Combat, such as weapon packs, and flares which is something Bamco should have had with their AC series a long time ago, but too bad they got lazy because of their monopoly of this arcade flight-sim genre. HAWX just made Ace Combat's gameplay too simple for me to play...
