Oasis of the Seas are 40% bigger then freedom of the seas and feedom of the seas are much bigger then QM2. If any says QM2 are bigger you are blind and cant read.
Absolutely 100% correct. I would pay to watch (from the deck of the QM2 of course) the Oasis try to handle a crossing in the seas which a Spring time storm would bring. No "cruise ship" ever built can handle what an Atlantic crossing dishes out!!
that thing is just too big, we like the smaller ships, we were on Celebrity Solstice and that's about as big as we'll ever go again...I can only imagine the lines etc etc on there. We like Royal Caribbean but dont think we'll sail on Oasis
Officially, Independence is currently the largest, but that is mainly because of the amount of water she displaces - QM2 is longer and taller than Independence. Oasis beats both of these ships in terms of length, width, height and especially weight!
Titanic was only 889ft long - Oasis is 1,181ft long! I love Titanic but this thing pisses on here in the size dept. Cant wait to go on the maiden voyage in dec!
The idea of the blimp was that they were going to allow people to ride up in it so they could get a birds eye view of the ship mid-cruise. Apparently it became detached and floated off during the sea trials so they are thinking of swerving the idea! lol

Update!! The Oasis performed wonderfully during the Atlantic crossing. She handled 30 and even 40 foot seas without a problem!!
