I'm struggling to see the point to the floating homes that are being designed. First of all this structure looks incredibly weak. Secondly, surely it's a common sense bad idea NOT to put water on the top floor. My last little pick - no one in their sanity will live on one of these in cramped conditions with very little access to fruit and vegetables aswell as livestock, this is just one huge accident waiting to happen.

@haripurwantoui nothing will happene they'll make it through the big tsunami, If the world comes to the end this ship will take the tsunami, they just have to get every one onboard and get the ship into the middle of th sea away from land before Tsunami, however they can load more people because they got runways on this ship for planes so they can take people from land and load them onboard the ship.

the ship can be done. it would take definetely a lot of time to start getting a profit. i only wish though people would start making ships that look like the old classic funneled ocean liners again.

The Freedom Ship project is dead. The website has not been updated in three years and nobody has even started building it yet. It was just a pipe-dream that has faded away from memory.

this is probably not just a ship, this freedom ship could be the Ark, which is built to stand title waves, so if the world comes to the end 2012, this would be the ark.

Oasis of the sea is the biggest cruise ship out there but this would be a great amphastructure.

I read about this thing just today. The project looks VERY complicated. Many claim it can't be done (including expert engineers).

But it looks and seems awesome as a concept nonetheless.
