If you think you can battle wits with their fomer leader, I suggest downloading the story I saw and getting 100 or so of your friends together and figure out how to teach it to them given what you've seen. I have no doubt if someone was trying to undo their religion they wouldn't isolate them, and its no different from mainstream here. Koresh ended up on a farm in waco. So were the goofballs with the polygamy fiasco. Both are working farms in Texas and as tax exempt as a church. But that distance isolates them to keep one faction from rising up somewhere else in the US and mocking you, and hiding out like that doesn't help their case out that it was guesswork on the government's side going into this.

You don't pay taxes on property. If you did, you just couldn't buy sh*t and leave it there for decades. 10% annual property tax would mean it would be gone in 10 years. Thats the model that lets generic religion compete without as much force. You get money in an account, convince people god told you we need a parking lot 6 blocks away, you buy it, and then you're once again broke. Everyone wants to compare them with christianity. They'd execute a follower or a leader for molestation. Thats been the only consistent factor for explaining raids historically.
