  • The product page doesn't say if the scantool includes aUSB interface. I'd assume in 2010, it would, but does anyone have an answer. Also, what is the cost for using online diagnostics? Likewise, will it read ABS codes out of the box?

  • That is not a craftsman tool. It is innova. You can buy it at Kragen's. Code readers are for toys. You need a real scan tool if you really want to try and diagnose something.

  • alternator is not charging the system/ working very well....i think you need a new alternator

  • I have a ODBII and its not helping in my situtation,my 99 Dakota runs fine for 15 or 20 minutes then stalls dead,I have to wait about the same amount of time before it will restart and its not setting a code.

  • @pidner cam and crank sensors come to mind for that vehicle

  • @G3kRay Thanks for commenting,it turned out to be the computer,it ended up taking 6 weeks to finally find one that would work, somthing was always wrong the company that I got the 1st thru Advance Auto computer from kept giving the guy at the shop the wrong #s to program it,a big mess,I finally told the mechanic to go to the dealer and get me one,and after about the third time it worked, but being without my truck that long was a bitch, and a bill almost 700.00
