I enjoyed 100s of kayak dives in Ft. Lauderdale several years back...live in the Keys now. Is launching now only allowed at certain areas? If so, can you launch in other areas if you start early (before lifeguarding begins?)

We launch our yaks by 14th court - a little north of Sunrise. North end of Fort Lauderdale beach is the only place kayaks are allowed.
