@narutokan Crysis 2 did not suck ass, you suck the ass of the general public reviews and probably didn't play the game through to the end. People expected c2 to be the biggest milestone game around in story and statistics, their expectations were shattered when they had to play through New York in a closed world environment unlike Crysis 1 and Warhead. Saying Crysis 2 sucked ass means you are not open-minded and thus does not deserve to play anything brilliant like the Crysis series.

A lot of people who don't give a shit about a game always compare it to CoD which is a generic piece of crap imo; and I was right, you didn't play it to the end which then means you don't know shit about how good or bad it was. You need to look at the tiny details that make a difference in the end and try not to look at the big picture first. People who don't do that think they know the game before they even beat it or get to the important parts.

@pokeprime Wether someone likes something or no is their decision. For me I didn't like Crysis 2 because for example of the plot holes. At the end of Crysis 1 you see Nomad flying back to the island. Crysis 2: The events between Crysis 1 and 2 are explained in a few cutscenes -_- They could have made alot more out that. Also, there was to much predictable in the game.

@casualuserable down the line of comments on this video, someone mentioned a Crysis comic, so I looked it up and apparently it's supposed to close the gaps between Crysis 1 and 2, such as what happened to Nomad, Psycho , and that scientist lady I can't remember the name of; It's in a city, what would you expect from AI?

That AI can be challanging in close or urban combat has been proven by Splinter Cell or Mass Effect.

@casualuserable Well, I guess I can agree with you for the ME part(hasn't played SC), but cloaking for a second or two and then uncloaking soon after, somewhat tricks the bots into thinking you aren't there anymore so then the cmd prompt tells them to go and look around where you were last seen, but there you are, shooting at them while they are trying to decide what to do. ME didn't have a cloaking option so you just had to have a strategy to take down each enemy.

@pokeprime ..For example, during the exacuation in Central station you hear the whole time stuff like "WE've gotta save the civillians, "My parents might be here" etc. What a suprise, suddenly there is an attack, ending with a gigantic explosion. Ovarall, Crytek did a noce job on the enviroment, but the AI didn't feel very challanging (So it didn't matter much what tatic you used, at least for me). The Mp felt alot like CoD for me, exept that you can cloak, but otherwise..

something about the first time you play this scene was so epic, the scale just become huge, be it the fights going on between the kpa and the ceph or the spikes shooting out of the ground as you race to catch the crate all with this music playing, was just SO epic :P

@4232267 nothing and i mean nothing can beat original alpha cryengine that was never rleased couse computers of that time couldnt handle it and even todays rigs will have troubles handling it,original crytec engine for alpha crysis was nerfed to the ground so game can be playable

@4232267 In fact Crysis 2 with texture pack, DX11 and Ultra graphics sucks a lot of power from my GTX 580 and in a lot heavier than Battlefields Frostbite 2.

@4232267 lol agreed but that was also a double edged sward a lot of pc's had to get upgraded to.

i upgraded part of my system and could still not run it perfectly so i then had to get a hole new build for it.

luckily i can run crysis 2 with no upgrades although i may put a second HD5770 in there just for the motion bluer

as to why they released crysis 2 for the consoles when crysis 1 was only for pc i do not know, the easy money made from console owners may have a bit to play thou

I mean, a big part of it was the great fun you can have with vehicles - the level from which this music was taken is a prime example. You can shoot out the tyres, you can blow up the petrol cans. There is very little vehicle fun in Crysis 2, apart from when you have that APC in the tunnel, or when you have to shoot down that helicopter in Gould's lab. In Crysis, shooting down helicopters is just an everyday occurrence.

@4232267 That's not true, the entire lighting framework was rewritten to allow for deferred rendering, which is a new way of handling lighting - faster and allows for more dynamic lights in a scene.

Personally, I have played Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2. My favourite from the three was Warhead, because it had the same great graphics as Crysis, but ran faster. Crysis 2 was an excellent game as well, in it's own right, but it might just be that I prefer the jungle combat to urban warfare

I remeber that when I played Warhead for the first time and this started playing, I stopped the Hovercraft and just listened with my mouth open. This is just plain epic and it proves you don't need Hans Zimmer to get an awesome OST :)

crysis 2 is an awesome game, but it lacks the integrity of crysis 1, you can tell, its like mass effect 1 and 2, mass effect 1 is a better game in genral because it is more original, immersive (for me), and just plain awesome.. and this is the exact same situation with crysis and crytek.. the first game is always awesome, but the second is a sell out (dont flame me for saying it, because it's true) the gameplay mechanics are better, but everything that makes the game, a GAME are somewhat..
