  • Suzuki is selling ten thousand swifts every month in india

  • I heard when the vento was launched india it had about four thosand bookings in just fifteen days

  • Ford is doing good here in india but the volkswagen is doin just great the vento is having a 4 month waiting period

  • Guys features/design is great but what about the engine? Im from india im looking for a good drivers car.. I have short listed vw vento or jetta, this new fiesta which will b launched here next month.

  • Good car but small as shit.

  • . . . they should offer a V8 too.

  • econo box! they should offer this as an electric or hybrid

  • I got one of these for my first car...I absolutely love it. I was it like every 3 days haha

  • Nice little review you guys did.

  • Well it's a great car (: I want one for my first!

  • HOLDENS BRU

  • this car looks verry ugly and sheap inside....i have seen it with my own eyes.....i wound never buy this car

  • looks gay

  • this chick must still be living in the 90's if she didnt know that the push button start already existed before this car....

  • So many useless features that nobody needs. I'd much rather have a stripped down version for $11,000 with no stereo and the option to easily install an aftermarket head unit. Push button start is cool and all, but is it really that hard to turn a key? Do that many people really have money to blow on such silly features?

  • @i90east What you represent is a minority. You're a small percentage of the population interested in having things different, while the majority appreciates the current system/. When you and 51% of the buyers market want what you described, then the car will come without a stereo. These features may be useless to you but to the majority of people purchasing the car these features are appreciated. Why the fuck would a car company design an $11,000.00 vehicle just for some fuckhead like you?!

  • @ i90east You're a fuckin' loser... cars have been made like this for decades (maybe not the keyless, push button start, but certainly the stereo). A lot of people appreciate the push button start since it means you don't have to fumble with keys anymore, reducing the chance of losing them. The majority of consumers want a stereo in their car and don't care about aftermarket head units, nor do they want to waste their time in some car audio shop so they can have a deck with fancy graphics!.

  • true but u still got to deal with the key fob for the car n that runs on a lil battery n have to worry about the battery cause if its dead then u cant start the car i would rather have the key but soon most cars will have this or soon it will scan a finger to start the car mercedes benz is doin someting like this but i dont know when/if it will ever be out

  • Here (in Sweden) Stereo and Air Condition is optional. I think you are right about most features being usless and overpriced. P.S. you are not a loser ;)

  • @Neroin88

optional? forgive my ignorance but does it even get hot in sweden???

  • @Sauron767 It's a big temperature difference between the north and the south of Sweden. In the summer it occasionally is warm and nice :) Winter is dark and cold... ...and depressing. It's pretty much forbidden to complain about hot weather in Sweden.

  • the push button start is standard throughout the range except the base model.

  • It's a budget car for people that can't make any money!

  • The car looks great finally ford is on the right path.

  • Ford has been making this car in Europe for years dipshit! They've been on the right path for a while fuckstick, you didn't see them claim bankruptcy did you?

  • Wow, get a life.

  • @GypsySlide WHOA PMS

  • I'll buy the girl

  • damn, rthis chick went head over hells, over fetures that already exsist

  • I have a stunning 1980 Fiesta ITC road car for sale. It's killer.

  • I saw someone driving this car a few days ago. I did a triple take! It had the graphic designs on it and all. Based on the body design, I never would've thought it was a Ford. However, I walked by it to get a closer look and I was shocked. I am not a Ford fan but I like the design quality of this car. I would'nt buy it due to Ford's reliability rep but I'd love to see someone take it and tune it with rims, low profile tires, etc.

  • I know this is old but: you do realize Ford USA's reliability has improved dramatically over the past 5 years. Example: Fusion one of the most reliable midsizers in the market. Also, Ford of Europe has an amazing reputation for being fun and reliable, which is what this car is.

  • Really nice video! Thanks for posting this. Fiesta looks like a great car. Looks like the quality and refinement of the Fiesta is much better than the Fit and Yaris. 5 stars...great job!

  • I am not sure if I totally agree... IMO the yaris is out of the question and I think the Fiesta's biggest competitor is the Honda Fit. Now Honda might not match the Fiesta's detail and finish but when it comes to "utility" and "Load Capacity" the fit is the clear winner. My wife and I were very surprised with the lack of 2nd seat leg room when compared to the fit. So when it comes right down to it... Honda has the versatility but ford has the refinement... give and take... I do love that sync.

  • Yes, the Fit does have a lot of useable space but the Fit doesn't look nearly as attractive as the all new Fiesta. If you think that you will be requiring lots of room then it sounds like the Fit is your car. If you want style and better quality then the Fiesta seems to fit the bill quite nicely. I used to own an '09 Fit and after a few weeks I couldn't wait to sell it. The ride is very choppy and uncomfortable and the headrests push your head forward no matter how you adjust the seats.

  • Very interesting... I am considering purchasing the fit b/c of the versatility is provides and the money I would save at the pump. I currently drive a 99 sierra and I rarely use the bed to haul anything. Would you discourage a fit purchase and wait for the fiesta? I would love to hear your main pros and cons of the vehicle. Which model do you own? How powerful is the engine? Do you have a MT? Did you like the versatility of the fit? Please let me know.

  • No longer own the Fit. It was the base model with 5 speed auto. Seating was very uncomfortable because the headrests constantly push your head forward...very annoying! The ride is VERY choppy and rather unrefined. Everything I've read & heard about the Fiesta is the ride is excellent and very compliant. If I were in your position I'd wait to do a test drive back to back. Also all the plastics in the Fit are hard. Versatility in the Fit is very good. I'm single so I didn't require that.

  • Fit pros: versatility, gas mileage decent

Fit cons: harsh, choppy ride, headrests push your head forward, parts of interior feel cheap, styling

The styling part is subjective. To me the Fiesta is the most gorgeous B segment car I've ever seen both inside and out. Fiesta sales are sky high in Europe and Australia. Another suggestion: read Jeremy Clarkson's review on the web. A few months ago he reviewed a Fiesta Titanium 5 door. He gave it an unheard of 5 stars.

  • I believe Ford is giving the US-bound Fiesta a 2.0L or 1.6L turbo 4 cyl so I think there's going to be plenty of pep.

  • Hey mamaxwell, do not believe any of the RIDICULOUS RUBBISH posted here about the 2009 Honda Fit. " ride is very choppy and unrefined and the headrests push your head forward" Ludicrous comments by someone who NEVER test drove (let alone actually owned a Honda Fit) I bought the 09 Sport version for my wife and we are both VERY happy with it. As for a Ford Fiesta I will not make stupid "unrefined" comments about it as I have never driven nor owned one.....OK.

  • Sweet, I like the footage of the inside! :)

  • Thanks. I tried to capture footage of the things I haven't yet seen in other recordings... like the folding of the back seats, the voice control button and the way you interact with the visual interface of the car's electronics. It is a very cool car.

  • Where did you learn to open the trunk like that and remove the trunk cover? Other videos on here? I did see only one other video from way back that demonstrated that on a like car.

  • Good job on the video you two.

  • Thanks. My wife and I are about to start reviewing little things that we enjoy and posting them online and on our blogs. We love the simple things in life like the iphone, the mac mini, X11, HD video, cars, little houses, apartments and everything that has to do with apple... except that new shuffle... I still don't know what to think of it. :)

  • One day they're gonna fit all that stuff into the size of a Tic Tac and only have wires running between ears. Who knows, maybe get rid of that too and make it wireless and just fitting into the inner ear canal like earplugs by then.

  • It is nice to see that the seats go down. I can fit my Classic 1970 Schwinn Pea Picker bike in the back.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree. I love that the seats do fold down very easily but am a little disappointed that they don't lay flay like Honda Fit's seats. If you haven't checked out that car I suggest that you do b/c they do great job of maximizing the usability of every inch of that car

  • That's a beautiful car. Very nice to drive!

I have one like that in moondust silver colour, and with 15" rims

  • What camera is that?

  • It is a Canon TX1. Great little camera and was Canon's first digital point and shoot that would record video in 720p. It works wonderfully and even has that motion compensation technology built in. There are a few flaws but overall works just fine.
