McCain and Palin both have records of naming people for political expedience rather than competence. Palin, both as mayor of Wasilla and as governor of Alaska, has a big problem with cronyism. This ad shows the destructive outcome of that approach.

Its a fair point to make that Sarah Palin lacks experience, but this video just comes off as peevish and mean spirited. Gov. Palin is green, that's true, but she hardly lacks accomplishments and the VP has basically zero Constitutional role in governing. Slamming McCain for picking a young inexperienced VP is ironic when the man at the top of the other ticket as arguably less governing experience than Palin does.

You say the VP has zero role in government but have you ever stopped to think that if something happened to the president, the VP would assume that role? Thats VPs purpose. McCain is old. Hes in his seventies with old health problems that could reaccure at any time ranging from skin cancer to melanoma to being a smoker of 25 which probably will result in lung cancer. Do you think having an inexperienced VP is a good idea when the president could drop dead at anytime simply because of his age?

People who are new to POLITICS, here is some VERY VALUABLE ADVICE.. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the patterns. If your still involved in politics 2 years from now, pay EVEN CLOSER attention to the DETAILS. 2 years from then, STILL, PAY CLOSE Attention to DETAILS.
