I'd never seen a champagne review before this one. Very informative. I've done beer reviews and watched others do theirs, but I wanted to get an idea of how men review things like wine and champagne to see if I could improve any reviews of beer I might do in future. I notice that you suck air with each sip. How can I expect this to change my taste sensation of beer, if at all?
Drawing air in forces the wine to cover the palate, and also sends aromas up into the nasal receptors, so is a good way to maximise the sensation of a wine when you are trying to assess it. I am not sure that beer tasters do the same, but I guess it would work for all liquids you taste.
This review was really helpful. Thank you.
