  • 91' Birmingham, Alabama show was everything. Nola concert later in year sucked.

  • i dont think its lound enough

  • You actually have the date wrong. The show was on 4/24/91. I was there, Happy Mondays opened the show.

  • FYI, this is b-roll shot by MTV. I was there for it. Someone clearly ganked it...which is fine by me, considering the immeasurable ways MTV has stolen from all of us over the years...HOME (home-home-home)!

  • @xgoutx

Hey, I remember this from that MTV feature, too.

  • I was at this show at MSG, and now I feel totally old. I can't believe it was 19 YEARS AGO!!!!!!

  • WRONG DATE: this show was 4-24-91 you can verify it by doing a search (youtube won't let me post the link but it has janesaddiction in it). I know, I was at this show and still have the stub! It was an amazing show!

  • Henry Rollins, Butthole Surfers, Nine Inch Nalis, Ice -t and Bodycount, Living Colour, Souixsie and the Banshees

  • All great bands! Rollins Band, Butthole Surfers, Nine Inch Nails, Ice T & Body Count, Living Colour, Siouixsie & The Banshees, Jane's Addiction.

    Talk about a great show!

  • I saw it in Raliegh NC. 17 years old. still one of my best memories.

  • back together again..come to detriot...home

  • My first MSG concert after moving from L.A. to NYC, I was a Forum concertgoer back there, There is nothing like the shows at the Garden, it has to be the mistique of that place. One of the best. if not the best rock venue in the world.

  • Saw pearl jam there wednesday. Brilliant

  • And I saw The Cure Last Friday. And R.E.M. was last Monday.... What a place!

  • This band changed my life!

When I first heared nothings shocking they instantly became my favorite band of all time.

    They still are!

  • Perry was drinking wine all night and flicking/blessing the crowd with it - I had a sweet spot on the floor b/c it was a onesie - you either luck out or get screwed.

Someone remind me - happy mondays was the opener right?-I'm pretty sure it was a madchester band. . . Well, thanks for posting this - I'd love a copy of the whole show.

  • No idea, but Henry Rollins was opening a few weeks later on that tour.

  • Happy Mondays opened the MSG show.

  • We got stuck with Mary's Danish...

  • Man I was there! I was completely transformed by that show. I still feel it was the most incredible live experience I have ever had. Mystical , FREAKY, the best trip ever - I was 17 years old, in NYC - my only bad feeling about this show was knowing that this scene could not go on forever. Buggin out while the battalion of mounted NYC police pushed us around outside the Garden. I miss those days.

  • Best Fucking Band, Ever!!!!!!!!!!

  • agree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Best Intro song, Ever!!!!

  • Eric doesn't even want to be in the band anyway. They asked him last time they reunited and he passed.

  • All my friends were at this show and I was away at school, SHIT! Thanks for posting it.

Dave & Eric (and Steve) should just stop screwing around, stay sober and make another Deconstruction album and fuckin tour this time.Way to much good music on that album to be forgotten about!!!! Dave? What's up?

  • Perry, Dave & Stephen, put this little&simple thing inside your heads: THERE'S NO FUTURE WITHOUT ERIC.

Give away all the Armani and Prada clothes and get back to the basics!

  • ERIC IS GOD.

  • Damn man, great footage.

  • Yeah Fuck Flea Eric Is The Real Deal

  • The Deconstruction viedo is here, it's for their only video for "LA Song" dig it

  • Eric, you're still the man... :)

Yo; heads up... if you like this; check out Deconstruct; so hard to find... someone must have it though. Eric and Dave's album after ritual; if you like their layered sounds and heavy bass lines... yeah; check it out.

Perry... make friends with Eric? soon? You need to keep making music!!!

  • I have the Deconstruction album, its awesome! Its progressive, experimental, and a little funky. In my opinion, its the best thing any of the guys from Jane's made after Ritual de lo Habitual.

If you (anyone who reads this) want the album, I'll send it to you through Yahoo messenger, my screen name is Garrett_thezebra.

  • Yeah, I managed to get a copy off e-bay. The album is amazing. Extremely diverse and unconventional... truly alternative.

  • damn, that was my first jane's experience. how fucking cool to see it on youtube. amazing. gives me the chills

  • this is good shit!

  • i've only seen the little clips from an old mtv interview. thanks!

  • awesome shots of eric...too cool

  • good stuff

  • I second that! GREAT Footage! Please post more if you got it!
