I am extremely emotional when I see this. The Engineers know what I'm talking about when I say that this is the most beautiful innovation since the Light Bulb was invented. This technology can work in a nano-scale far beyond what today's standards dictate.
I have no disrespect for wind farms. I only wish the Engineers of today would understand the true power of Parypolic Solar Energy.
These look like 2 of 8 proto types we built in 1985-1986 for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Huntington Beach, Calif. I built the Main Beam Assembly ( solid, horizontal, box beam unit ). 2 dishes were set up and tested at Huntington Beach for several years. I was told the other 6 units were sent to M-D headquarters in St. Louis, Mo. for more testing. The use of the Stirling Project was not for earth, but rather for use on the Moon to power an automated ore mining plant.
