An impala ss was created from the 9C1 package in the first place. The Creator of the SS was Jon Moss and it came out of his mouth. When the police package hit the scene they had the LT1s first. Then he cleaned up the car gave it a few diff. exerior pieces lowered it upgraded the interior with lerather and bam.  The SS was born. There the exact same vehicle as far as the power goes its just a hooked up version.
