heres a tip. with the controller push all the buttons b4 the correct note at the same time to hit faster notes. example. if there r fast orange notes be pushing the green red yellow and blue notes at the same time to hit faster. i just found this out. nothing u can do for green notes tho.

When I bought GH3 I found the step up from medium to hard to be too much so I started using the pad and was able to complete everything on expert barring One and Raining Blood. Since then I've been practicing with the guitar a lot but It's reached the point where I can get 260,000+ on Cliffs on Dover on the pad and even pass TTFaF on hard. Pad rules!

Note the difference. Hard =/= Expert. Hard is a HECKUVA lot easier on a controller. Expert has fast strums that are practically impossible on a controller. Don't compare two seperate difficulties.

I can do the intro on Expert of this song with a Standard Controller too but I haven't mastered it yet. I am really good at GH games with a Standard Controller because I have been playing the GH3 demo before I got the full version and I haven't gotten a Guitar Controller yet. But man, it is really hard hitting fast notes (tremolos) on a Standard Controller.

with the controller nope not really cause I use the guitar now, just smash the hell out of the green button while trying to hit the others. The thing is it takes time to learn to play cause i'm not so much as playing what I see, rather just recognising patterns and my fingers know what to do. And that takes a lot of time its out of your control its up to your sub-conscious

yes its in practise mode, i've since got a guitar and am able to get to about 68% on expert mode. But with the controller even if I get through the intro theres just no way I can beat the song, the notes are too fast to play

And no I havn't beaten career on expert for this very reason, holiday in cambodia requires you have superhuman speed in your fingers if using a controller and not the guitar
