  • I have doubts about the sincerity of some people here laughing at all of this, it's NOT FUNNY! Why are people chuckling and snickering. I believe many of you are disgruntled.More religious vomit like everything I encounter ! I'm sorry people,I read the KJV and before during or after being a witness never believed in the Vatican pagan doctrin of the trinity as taught. It is Vatican , egyption,/babylonian. seems everyone here is still deceived by the jesuit mennace.I see no Holy Spirit here .

  • Anyone ever here of the Jesuit Mennace? this Jesuit order plagues ALL organized religions. The Vatican created Islam, the Jesuit order and Illuminati.I was a witness and really did not know too many people who were as you is described here. I had a good experience, though I always never agreed with eveything. I was in a small mountain kingdom hall, and it was more laid back. I always had reservation about the watchtower, but the core of the Kingdom and Jehovah and Jesus, and salvation is good.

  • over eating is a sin LOL... most of all of them over eat, and are sick and over weight. I had a sister tell me why are you wasting your time excerising when your getting a new body in the new system this is some of the looney thinking in many of these high school or lower educated members because education is a big no no.

  • You guys. The whole manipulation thing is spot on because theres a guy I know since high school and even tough hes not a always active witness he is spot on maipulative to gettin whatever he wants. And the way he treats his girlfriend and mom is the exact same. In fact it has gone so bad as to him thinking that he is perfect and that he makes no mistakes and that we are at fault and crazy only because we dont see his point of view. It could be his personality too but his doctrine too.

  • Oh yeah, don't wanna be too successful - yes would indeed get you some dirty looks from the brothers and sisters, sometimes audible grumbling, plus you gotta worry, is this success (or just good fortune) a deadly little trap from SATAN!? The never-ending mindf@ck. 20 yrs in ... all those fears mentioned, I had them all in spades. You don't even realize it until you leave and all those fears start crumbling. here's to the survivors and here's to those struggling to get out right now.

  • Good video, but those who went from JW to any other faith believing in invisible gods and demons is like jumping from the pan into the fire. If you want real freedom first, admit to yourself that you are not a sinner and you do know what's good from what is bad. Second, realize that nobody is watching you when your alone who either wants to help or harm you ,then move on. 5 Years out after 10 in and never more free.

You obviously have a christian agenda, good luck with that, god IS dead.

  • But what are all of you doing for God now, preaching stupidness, leave the real work to the JW's, because you know that it was your pride why you left, humble yourselves and return back to the kingdom hall !! and this time make the truth your own !!

  • @almenaja you are severely brainwashed.

  • I'm glad I grew up as a JW. When I left the organization, as hard as it was, with a fresh outlook but with the same questions...it made me realize that all of Christianity is wrought with brainwashing and that the bible, no matter what form of Christian, is wrong. I'm glad now that I am free of the immoral character that is "god". Christians, like many religions, are afraid of death and are willing to convince themselves of a self-made fantasy that there is something after this life that we we

  • ITs obvious this man was in the religion, he knows exactly what hes talking about! young witnesses!!!!! listen to this man, I wish i had this when i was 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cyro44 I"am not JW first all they do not call themself a religion dumbass

  • Great video and two thumbs up for anyone who leaves the JW Cult.

  • Jehova witnesses tried for 3 years to get me under their power. Being invalid I was happy to have some contact when they started to come along. But I always had disagreements and asked to leave me alone. They got on to try to catch me! And they send members higher in function.I have a strong personality and finaly they gave up. God is joy and love and non judging etc... but if they came it was always judging, speaking about evil.... SO THAT IS NOT GOD !!!

  • none but my own, a non-profit educational organization that embraces all kinds of people, not just Christians. Check it out!

  • What ministry our you a part of now? How is it different to the WTBTS?

  • Comment removed

  • @jamisonic Hi Jami. Interesting that you have no qualms expressing your ignorance to many. I usually don't reply to little trolls like you but you have demonstrated your intolerance and close mindedness...Maybe you should start your own church! LOL!

  • @HanDeckardJones What part of religion is Bullshit did you not understand. If you think I'm a little troll, then don't reply. Why would I want to start any kind of ministry? So I can recruit people and then cast them out like the WTBTS? I rarely even comment on anything, this is why. I'm glad you're of a superior intellect to little trolls like me. I doubt it though. "What ministry 'our' you a part of" is improper grammar.

  • this is NOT helpful, it is like recovering catholics I have spoken too, they know each other.....outsiders please don't "reach us" you have not a clue............we don't need another religion. thanks respectfully we both share the first amendment and free speech.....yes I have read those books.

  • 34:22 In a recent Watchtower article it was stated that even married couples or families shouldn't hold hands or embrace each other during the prayer at the Kingdom Hall.

  • @tubian323 that one I did not comprehend, I would think that would be a good example of strong families.

  • 9:33 Or you're "haughty", "wise in your own eyes", "falling victim to the spirit of the world." In the Watchtower doctrine independence is linked with wickedness. "Satan rebelled against God because HE WANTED TO BE INDEPENDENT!" You hear stuff like that in The Watchtower magazines and in Kingdom Hall talks all the time.

  • After being brainwashed for so long, sure it's difficult. Those in it didn't have much of a brain to begin with. JWs prey on the weak and those who know little or none at all. Then they Indoctrinate them to their way of ungodly thinking.

  • @DeeStinger1 Very true! My mom's mother was down and out and destitute at a time in her life back in the late 1940's. That's when the JW's came and helped her out. They brainwashed her she was a JW for 50 years until the day she died. JW Organization is a CULT!!

  • why are active witnesses at this gathering and why are they saying this? Are they themselves trying to get out? or are they trying to get ex-jw's to join their church? I am confused!

  • These are almost all ex-Witnesses interested in recovovery, with some Christian and atheist onlookers as well. It's about recovery. I don't care if you join a church or not :-)

  • Who knows if he is in good standing?

  • I wonder if the guy that is passing the mic is in a good standing to do that kind of job.lol

  • @thekeystone74 I got the joke if many others didn't.

  • let em' hold the microphone for gawds sake.

  • neat to see so many exjdubs in one place. thx for posting. some interesting points.

  • ok the conditional part makes me fear Christians when you are not a Christian. the minute they see you not participating or taking issue with the teachings and they don't suddenly get super offended.

  • Yes, that's why I avoid that sort of 'Christian' nowadays - who needs it?

  • God, I sure wish they would stop thinking of me as the enemy. Sure, stop talking to me but don't attack me! I don't think ill of them until they do this and its just sad.

  • right! I avoided making new friends until I was really over being a Witness. I thought I had done something that god hated but really I had been trying to do the right thing and that led to me being kicked out rather then getting help.

  • how about fear of close friendships when you have to pretend someone who has left is dead? I'm familiar with that one.

  • ooh! ooh! fear of x-rated movies? oh no! fear of sexual images. fear of disfellowshipped persons. I remember it well. armagedon is still just a moment a way to them even though its been coming over 100 years! every time there is a crisis, it's proof of armagedon. yes, fear of other religions. As a child I once called down satan to see if he would get me but nothing happened. So, I was relieved. thinking that god was always watching me was scary too.

  • fear of doubt. it means you are listening to the devil. hmm. not really. your mind almost has something to do and then you make it stop functioning. what about fear of Christmas songs? and fear of participating in a holiday activity that takes you out of the classroom or fear of dancing with a member of the opposite sex at a school prom. yikes! what about fear of masturbating? certainly has made lots of people go gay, right! I'm scared just thinking about that. oh yeh, fear of friends. ooooohh!

  • yeh, like disfellowshipped is a label they put on us but we don't have to wear it. very informative but I can't really see your presentation very clearly.

  • Quite brilliant videofilm & the material w/in. Even more (pleasantly) surprised it was recorded in '92 & therefore references much of Jehovism further back.

Achingly brutal truth about the JW religion is presented, i do thank you for uploading it. Mind control, instilled value systems, received opinions, threat-laced fears emboldened w/ a velvet-coated sledgehammer. NOT being appointed by holy spirit is unquestionably destroyed here by former 'elder' commentors. Perception management à la WT.

  • Great why make a pathetic video showing perverted cowards stand up and explain why they flushed there life down the toilet. Bloody youtube mentality ZERO.

  • Better to answer the various points raised than call individuals 'perverted cowards' ...

It's a common tactic to shoot the messenger(s) - this tactic is used primarily as a reflex means to bolster ones own reality and as a supplementary tactic, to persuade those who rarely engage in critical thinking, by smearing the messenger in tar & feathers in an effort to ridicule and reduce the power of the message.

  • I'd argue that he presents various solid arguments, but his bottom line is of course, another tweaked version of the Christian faith. So some would say, out of one high control group and then into a high control mindset?

    Hmm.

  • Mate your not in a position to give an opinion due the fact you have zero faith what ever i say i have the backing of the true God.

  • What does faith have to do with data analysis?

Plus, by what presumptuousness do you question another man's faith or lack of?

  • Freedom of speech mate just my opinion .

  • I don't believe you want freedom, judging by the strength of your words to those who oppose your opinions.

I think its important to remember that many of the people in the video still attempt to follow Jesus and there is a section in Mark where Jesus apparently told his disciples to not criticize others who were doing work in his name.

That small scripture many years ago suddenly clanged a bell in my head, when I had nurtured a similar attitude to the one you display.

  • I'll give you that - yes, as much as we try, we hardly ever reach the dizzying heights of our ideals.

I think you meant hypocritical? If so, again, yes, we have our moments.

What I have observed so far in life, is the paradoxical nature of our being. We seem to love & hate in equal measure. We distort information in order to create a field of equilibrium for our conscious self. The beauty we bestow upon our person through grooming is frustrated by the vile odour emitting out of every orifice.

  • @beardfreak1969 do they speak for Jesus or Jehovah? seems like they only think about Jesus during the memorial or armageddon talks. Jesus didn't want people to avoid partaking of the bread and the wine but they do. So, do they even care what Jesus says?

  • Batman are you swearing and being abusive again? Perhaps I should have a word with Sensei George to help you to show a little more respect.

  • Yes, the demons did get him!

  • Divine intervention killing your mic... HA!
