did you have the opportunity to try that? what do you think about that?

i went to the store to get this 1. there was a 60ml and a 100ml bottle there. there was a tester there too, and i tested it. and i loved it so i grabbed the box with the 60ml, but just as i was about to pay i saw the price. then i checked out the 100ml price. wow only 20% difference in the price. so i bought the 100ml.

i came home and i ripped it open.

i had just bought 100ml aftershave.

Here is the trick. This scent is way too sexy for it to die out on your skin. I get 4 to 6 hrs.Easy trick, go to sephora and ask for a refillable sample...on a good day apply la nuit from the bottle on ur skin and put three sprays in the sample and reapply in six hours. Compliments galore

just got my bottle of La Nuit based blindly on this video and was very satisfied. I also received samples of the original L'Homme and feel that the original has a very sweet in my opinion reminds me of XS by Rabanne I believe in the mid 90's and goes completely the opposite direction whereas La Nuit is darker with a touch of sweet similar to Le Male and John Varvatos Original. I'm eager to try this out at work and play. Thanks for the vids, all very informative and entertaining.

@Gcdn555 play intense is a fresher picture a fresh cotton candy with a hint i mean a hint of coffee and a lil sugar really nice. la nuit is more spicy sweet and woody but very good. i put la nuit as one of the top 10 well made put together scents ever made it blends so perfect.

by the way i just got home with a big 100ml bottle of YSL nuit de l'homme, my small 40ml version was empty to the bottom for over a year, and i managed to get ONE single spray out of it, it smelled even better as the new bottle.. in some kind of way it ''aged'' like wine in a barrel. Even more smoothness and sexyness.. ''milfhunterish''. Anyway, about D&G pour homme, i think it's a difficult smell. You must have a good nose to like that one, it's not easy and simple, it's quiet ''mature''. Bye!

i bought this from what is supposedly a popular "reputable" fragrance site. i was expecting something real nice from the positive reviews, but when i tried it, it was a very strong sweet smell and isnt real pleasant to me. I also bought another cologne from the site and that one didnt smell good either. could i have a fake?

I blind bought a bottle based on yours and JR's reviews. I have a cold so this may be nonsense, but this smells like Chanel Alllure Homme Edition Blanche without the lemon. It's a vanilla type scent, but the vanilla in this is a little better and the scent is smooth. I haven't found the vanilla as annoying as in other scents. So far, so happy. A few more wears and I'll know for sure.

This cologne is the best cologne I ever smelled. Number 2 is the orginal. Ive tried about 23 colognes, both really expensive and budget minded , and this one is hands down the best. Its calming, strong, elegant, summer, and winter rolled into one. Good review marc.

@Gamescare no sir, le nuit de l'homme comes in two concentrations, 1st is edt, which the review is about and another is le parfum, which u can say is equelent to EDP, or eu de parfum.

@Gamescare la nuit de l'homme le parfum smells different than edt, its more spicy and dark, it smells more herbal. the bottle of le parum is totally black. longavity and projection of both is above average. if u wanna buy either of those try them both side by side.

Mark! do the test for the best and ultimate fragrance - of pour L'homme type. Compare lets say around 10-15 top EDT form best houses and lets have some fun. I suggest to put on the list only fragrances that have the pour L'homme name and are currently in production. KENZO YSL DIOR GIVENCHY BVLGARI GUERLAIN GUCCI ARMANI HERMES PACO RABANNE CHANNEL ....and others.

Maybe i'm strange, but I do not like this one. The original smelled excellent, I steer clear of fragrances that say smell manly I take that as smell like a gorillas butt fungus. This was a good review, I definitely got a sample. Did not like trial and error. ^^

I got the little kick of gourmand the first time I wore it and was like 'oooooo nice'.

Do these fragrances smell similiar on paper as they do on skin? Was flippin through a magazine and saw an add with the scent strip thing for the original L'homme. I definitely like the fresh-oriental smell to it. Smells real nice.

Does the La Nuit De L'homme still have the citrusy freshness too it?

@bryann9182 The opening does, as well as the middle, but the end is a nice chocolately smell, not as intense as A*men though. This scent is aimed more for night out use, but can be used any time of day, any season. It's an overally amazing scent. This would be one of the safest blindbuys for anyone IMO.

Actually a nice fragrance. It reminds me a lot of of Armani's "Code", which I love. Like Code, this one was far too sweet to me at first try, after a few samples I began to like it. If you own Code, pass on this one. IMHO they are too similar.
