i was 11 years old when i first discovered AJC back in 97, on a demo video tape thing my mom had found at a local record store in taos, nm. had videos from primus, smash mouth, and marilyn manson. sal is an amazing vocalist, i can't seem to find any current info on her anywhere, or for bubbles cash for that matter...
@wetbobo you know sal?! i can't find anything current about her... do you know if she's still doing anything in the music industry? shame to let a voice like hers go to waste, AJC songs got me through some tough times ... hope she's doing well at the very least.
You are so fortunate to know Louise.I have been a fan since 1985 and was never able to find where to write a fan letter to her.She is amazing at what she does and I have appreciated her music in One To One,Sal's Birdland and rtificial Joy Club.That music has really helped me through good times and bad and always will.Anyways,take care and best wishes!!
I love this band and Sal is amazing.I love the comments from the other folks out there and am glad there are lots who appreciate great music like this.The video is powerful and love the message.I wish the band lasted beyond the one CD.

I am Figuring and analyzing this song and concluded that it's about a struggle with alcoholism or other substance and implores god to help him/her with abstaining from alcohol and or substance...Spaceman = "God"
yep this song (along with many others of their's)has such a poetic influence. it could be God or maybe an ordinary friend that helps her get through "flying" or addiction as i thought it meant.. its probably my favorite song of their's

First time I ever heard this song, I prefer Louise in her One 2 One days and even back at the CHS variety shows .. BUT still a good song.
