Well, she´s dreamin a little bit. And the costume suits her bad (visual apect). I´m not sure maybe she is not so flexible, too. But she is not a bad dancer, a couple of years and maybe she will a good dancer!Everything needs time.

Her turns are amazingly clean and the use of tamburine (spelling) is exact. This video is not a of a high quality and her facial expression is not that visible which takes away from the artistry of the variation.

At about 0:18, she needs to extend her leg farther. This is possibly one of the most lackluster variations of Esmeralda I've ever seen. My favorite is Natalia Osipova's hands down, I even like Alys Shee's version. She has great technique though but like others said, MUCH too robotic.

You didnt express emotions with her face, you did it with her body, which is good. However, a dancer is expressing feellings through the body the tecnique used upon the dance and facial expressions. You should work that out.
SHE WAS NOT that good....no offense....but.... she didn't get on pointe the right way it should be before the pirouette (fourth position and then the horrible part was at the releve)...so you should check it out....;)
It was too technicle! Esmarelda is a powerful pationat women, that is why it is supposed to be equel. Presence and techniqe. Besides that you are great!

Great pirouettes, yes, but the rest was very boring. Like she had been told every single movement, and didn't add her personality. I am sorry to say it, but it kind of ruined the performance. No energy.
Her pirouettes were amazing but I wish she would have been just a little bit more humble and just listened to the music rather than aiming to be ambitious.

I think that's a little harsh. Spinning (and a few sickled feet) aside, she executes the dance beautifully, and with lovely arches. Certainly it is ballet, and I would argue that it is absolutely good ballet, albeit not perfect, but still!

I´ve just seen the video of Natalia Osipova and from my point of view it´s forced and not natural at all.
Tamara has the cleanest technique and her expression is superior to the most of dancer, me included.
PS: The tambourines sound awful because the sound arrives late to the camera. It´s not Tamara´s fault.

iiSSa89: bueno...esque ademas aunque tuviera mucha elevacion, es diferente esta coreografía a la de Natalia Osipova (rusa), como es otra version..esta no consiste en golpear el pandero con la pierna en lo alto...yo creo que es eso ^^ y si sus pirouettes son increibles.
criss2209: leeí en un libro de Alicia Alonso, que ahora hay bailarinas con mas extencion, mas altos los saltos, no expresion...que su mayor temor es que los bailarines ahora son talvez mas atletas que artistas

perdon??poca elevacion??claro, si comparas con las bailarinas rusas que mas que bailarinas parecen gimnastas, si, pero la danza es algo mas que subir la pierna..por eso la gimnasia es un deporte y la danza es arte. Por desgracia,e sto se esta olvidando

Great pirouettes, yes, but the rest was very boring. Like she had been told every single movement, and didn't add her personality. I am sorry to say it, but it kind of ruined the performance. No energy.

Her pirouettes were amazing but I wish she would have been just a little bit more humble and just listened to the music rather than aiming to be ambitious.

nice control, but she's really stiff. In the beginning, I thought you were suppose to like show some attitude, she just looked at the audience, and her hips are suppose to move a little, but they were stiff. She just needs to move her body a little more.

Ok. So she could have used a bit more expression in her movements. But that was a beautiful rendition of that dance and it was most certainly good ballet.

so whoever is saying this is not ballet better have something good to show me because last time i checked she is one of the best ballet dancers of our time, i don't see how her turns affect the choreography the choreography is the exact same one that everyone uses. If you think this is not ballet show me something that you think is ballet

ok what is this??????? her truns arent even turns because all shes doing is spinning and they totallay took petipa's dance and RUINED it!!!!!!!! what ever that was im NOT calling it ballet!!!! at least not GOOD ballet

I think that's a little harsh. Spinning (and a few sickled feet) aside, she executes the dance beautifully, and with lovely arches. Certainly it is ballet, and I would argue that it is absolutely good ballet, albeit not perfect, but still!

ok but im not trying to make u agree with me im just stating my opinion. maybe you guys were all like american ballet trained unlike me cause i was russain trained and every dance studio is different ive learned casue at YAGP there can be 10 girls doing the same dance and they can all look different so please dont get mad at me!
