  • does this method increase the power of lucid dreaming to? I mean I used to control much more than my body as a kid like alter the environment of my lucid dream.

  • The smallest effect the timer method can physically have is hyper-realistic dreams, so DO IT!

  • guess whos fucking Ryan Renolds tonight!!

  • @AuroraTwine Meeeeeeeee

  • Timer method is the best (and only reliable) way to have O.B.E.s Either you'll have a really cool dream, lucid dream, or O.B.E. with it, but the best timer is on his site.

  • I rarely ever had any lucid dreams in the past. But from what I remember, in a real one you will be semi-conscious of your body. I remember distinctly having that awareness of my body being asleep.

  • 13 people didn't achieve lucid dreams or OBE's

  • huh.....where's part 1?

  • False Awakening Loop. OMFG that is terrifying. you're basically in a limbo nightmare. a continuous haze.

  • who the FUCK wants sleep paralysis. dear god that's one of the worst things imaginable.

  • @TheStfu1000 No its not. If you can control your emotions then it could be one of the best experiences that you can have

  • @Ratemaker3 paralysis is surely not one of the best experiences you can have. why do you think it would be good?

  • @TheStfu1000 Because without sleep paralysis, there is no out of body experience. If you want to get out of sleep paralysis, you can. Your not really physically paralyzed. An out of body experience can be one of the best things you experience. When I had my first obe, it was amazing. Take a dream and multiply the clarity by 100x. Everything was so vivid and realistic. If you have ever tried to fly in a dream, you would know what an amazingly liberating feeling it can be.

  • @Ratemaker3 but an OBE would just be walking around your room.

  • @TheStfu1000 Not at all in fact. You can do whatever you want. I think OBEs are just dreams but the reason that they are so much more vivid and clear is because since you're in sleep paralysis, you are still conscious but your body is still asleep and in REM. Regular lucid dreams can occur anywhere because you are fully asleep and unconscious. But if you are conscious and you know you're laying in bed, then you take control of the dream from there on. Try it out.

  • @Ratemaker3 but if you're concious you're not dreaming.

  • @TheStfu1000 Yes you are dreaming. Your mind is awake but your body is still in REM. That is what causes sleep paralysis. you go through it every night. It's a protective measure your body takes so you don't act out your dreams. Its safe and its normal. Its as dangerous as going to sleep. Anyone who says its dangerous has no idea what they're talking about. Search sleep paralysis on YouTube.

  • @Ratemaker3 thnx but you're giving me a textbook answer that doesn't fit what i had to say. and i knew that already. i'm saying your body is still sleeping but if you're awake and looking around yuor room and aware of your body sleeping ie your body paralysed then surely that is the sensation of paralysis.

  • @TheStfu1000 The moment i wake up to sleep paralysis. I can feel myself paralyzed but can still move my nose, face, mouth, etc. sometimes i can see different paintings on my ceiling moving. At that moment I try to imagine myself climbing a rope or a sense of falling which works better so you fall through your bed. after that i can move, fly, etc. After 3-5 min. im back in my bed fully awake. I think its just the fact that your body is still in REM. I highly doubt your actually leaving your body.

  • @Ratemaker3 of course you dont actually leave your body -.- shit though you actually like can actually obe so that you're outside your body and like moving through the real world as you imagine it? obviously i want to fly damn! but i thoguht you were still constrained by reality as you obe and can only walk around your bedroom (though even that would be quite an experience to look back at your body you'd feel like a ghost.. this is all crazy shit.

  • @TheStfu1000 Yeah. First time i tried it it was pretty scary but the thing is is that you can still somewhat feel yourself laying in bed while you have the obe. Its like being in 2 places at once or having a dual consciousnesses . Never be scared that you can never come back because thats those are the fears i had before ever attempting obes and lucid dreaming. It you want to stop then concentrate on your real body and open your eyes.

  • @Ratemaker3 but wait so when you OBE'd you were in a dream world but because i suppose you go through the process of leaving your body you were in a kind of realistic dream world. and you're telling me you literally flew around the air. if that's the case then there is 100% no argument that it is a Good experience. i'd go through like an an hour of sleep paralysis if it meant i got to experience flying realistically.

  • @TheStfu1000 Haha I wish i could have an obe for an hour. Like i said, it only lasts a few minutes for me

  • @Ratemaker3 so wait can you confirm that during the obe it literally feels as if you were flying through the air realistically as you might when awake. and you can feel the height between you and the ground below? and do you have to fly back to your bed to get out of it?

  • @TheStfu1000 Yeah. No you dont have to fly back. You can still somewhat feel yourself laying in your bed while you have the obe. Just focus on your real body and pick a body part, lets say, your hand, just keep focusing on it and you'll snap out of sleep paralysis. Its really hard to explain. Trust me if you want to get out of it, you will.

  • @TheStfu1000 This guy really explains it well. He isnt lying

  • is OBE same as lucid dream?

  • If I were to hav o.b.e when I hav to wake up, do I just get suked in? 0.0

  • Thank you so much! Now I know how to possibly achieve OBE easily ^_^ thanks alot!

  • you can also get an interval timer download it on your smart phone or buy one at a sports store

  • Isn't sleep paralysis something really scary ?

  • @tornadomannen2

Only if you make it scary. I love it, it feels nice.

  • I know a cool way to do this... simply, go to bed and lift your arm up (just bend it in the elbow so you use as less muscle as possible, like you would want to point up to the ceilling) and fall asleep like that. It may feel a little weird from the beggining, but it works! Just hold your arm there until you fall asleep and as soon as you fall asleep, your arm will fall down and that will wake up your mind, not the body though :)

  • @bemdav Hey i got some questions wih that way of doing it, first of all, can you go lucid any night/whenever you want to? and can you controll your dream? Last do you get sleep pyralasys? thanks (Grammar...i know)

  • @Onemannavy To be honest, I am not very experienced, but this is just the method I used a couple of times and it was pretty good. This method could also wake your body up a little but it is good for people who have trouble keeping their mind focused, this just kind of reminds you: "Hey, dude, you're trying to have an OOBE!" It can wake you up a little bit and then you will have to wait a while again, but it definitely works! To answer your questions... Yes, yes and yes :)

  • yesterday i had a 15 min nap and about near the end i realized i felt like i was falling asleep but fully awake. i the n thought in asleep?! im not supposed to sleep in the middle of day and woke myself up. when i woke up i couldent open my eyes for a few min. i think my body was mostly asleep. i did put my hand over them though so when i did open them it wouldent be so bright. i also saw a girl a.k.a mya/gaurdian angel in it too. i summoned her

  • can i do this without stop drop and roll tehnique???

  • lol at 19 seconds

  • oh, and I did it by coincidence.

  • OMG I just remembered I had a lucid dream a long time ago, I didn't know it was called like that but I knew it wasn't a normal dream, everything was clear, I could control every thing I asked for a gun and I had it, I started moving in a maze, I even did "Inception" In my dream by entering my friend's dream after diving in some kind of a pool xD (not for real, but in my dream)

I wish I can do it again, it was an awesome experience :D

  • Isnt an OBE like insidious because there is no way in hell I want to do that because my paralys sucked I was terrified

  • my body learned how to ignore the alarm clock and now i dont use it anymore and i wake up on time??

  • I am new to LD and OBEs and I tried the timer method this morning. While falling asleep, I felt a strange vibration over my whole body, like the one when you sleep on your hand or foot the whole night. Could that have been the 'vibrations'? Later I was in a dream and I talked to one random guy somewhere and I said to him 'wow, this is a lucid dream, I can do whatever I want!' well, I couldn't, I knew I was in one (or thought that) but I couldn't really control my dream. That happened once b4 too

  • What happens if you don't ever get sleepy enough to pay attention...

  • Obe is out of body expirience which means you come our of your body like. Look at my playlists about obe.

  • @YOMAMAXXL well now I say lol too, about 2 mins after commenting I found the difference xD

  • @pokefan1018 I know right thinking of all the unknown things that me lurk in the darkness it just makes me want to scream but if u do it in the evening you will not have that fear that makes u want to cry and be sad so if u do it in the morning or just before night fall you won't have that fear that limits you from the dreams that you will soon enjoy

  • basically just fight your sleep when you are going to sleep just dont and then go to sleep you will wake up 10 mintues later not being able to move, if you see total blackness open your eyes you are in your dream world :) thumbs up if you tried and it helped!

  • I also don't want it to be night in my OBE or lucid dream because I tend to think of more freaky things at night and as when you are in an OBE or lucid dream what ever you think/imagine happens. it can't be night time for me or I'll just always get lucid nightmares,

And lucid nightmares are most likely worse then normal nightmares because there more vivid and you are in complete control so it's basically like it happening in real life. Please help!

  • @pokefan1018 If you are in a lucid nightmare simply ask the monster why it is in the dream. I am pretty sure it will tell you

  • I need help, I really want to be able to lucid dream but I really don't want nightmares. It sounds like a lot of People get lucid nightmares and again, I really don't want anything like that or I'll never be able to sleep again. :( any tips for not getting nightmares or being able to change them quickly, effectively and have them stay changed?

  • so, when are you supposed t o stop the beeps? or do yu just make it beep throughout the night

  • It's ironic that the last 3 intervals of the Ramp Timer are "6, 6, 6..." I'm not sure if I want spontaneous OBEs using this method...

    :p

  • lol, it doesn't take me a month to enter sleep paralysis and vibrations, it's hard to do an AP tho, but, i think i did once yesterday, i don't know if it was a dream or not, but i remember i jumped up from my bed, looked up my ceiling fan while floating, and after that, i dreamed something else... =.=" and here is my question, is everybody will hear loud sounds when their etheric body is separating from the physical body? or some of them will hear nothing at all???

  • I tried this this morning in that time period... It mostly worked!!! (it was my first time). I slipped in and out of conscience though. It was scary, there was a lot of buzzing before the dream started. There might be more videos on that.

  • how the hell r we gonna just move r thumbs. most of the time when we wake up we gotta take a SHIT or pee.

  • @heatcoo you can also get an interval timer download it on your smart phone or buy one at a sports store

  • wat if i could not move my thumb while resetting the timer when i reach vibrational state,,,,,

i could not move an inch of my body wen i am in this state

  • @iggybug1 sleep paralysis :D

  • where the fuck is part 4 ????????

  • i don't have any red pills

  • online stopwatch has an interval function

  • I ended up dreaming again , oh well better than not remembering at all:)

  • wow this is complicated but i guess ill try to use my alarm

  • i had a lucid dream for the first time but when i woke up i wasnt in obe is that normal

  • shit this is like inception

  • do i do this at bed time or early morning?

  • @BrendanStuart morning

  • for some reason i think i twitch and i think its ruining it can anyone help

  • @joelclarkeofwhitnash While this phenomenon happens to most everyone, studies have recently begun to link occurrences of “Hypnic jerks” to sleep anxiety, fatigue, and discomfort. People who are having trouble sleeping or can’t get comfortable in bed appear to experience the sensation more often throughout the night. It is especially more common with people who are trying to fight falling asleep or have deprived themselves of sleep for more than 24 hours.

also called a hypnagogic myaclonic jerk

  • i fall asleep watching this video

  • idk if i ever had a OBE, but i get false awakenings alot, like ill still be dreaming and it'll be like i've woken up and i'll be were i fell asleep, but then i usually notice something strange and actually wake up.

I've never tried this method for lucid dreams but i've gotten lucky alot with the reminder method. I'll be in a dream and i'll become aware that i'm dreaming, or in the dream i'll test myself by pinching myself or biting my nail to see if it hurts.

  • It's very hard to find a digital timer that only beeps once. Most are made so you know that the fries are done.

But anyway, I had a prescription for Darvocet when i got my tonsils out. I realize now that it kept me on that consciousness line. It relaxes the mind and body so much, but in a way that doesn't really consciously make you tired

  • It did actually last pretty long I think for my first one. [Four to six minutes I'm guessing.] Very vivid and unmistakably different from sp in a lot of ways.

  • Oh also before that happened I fell in and out of sp a few times and felt really tired. Then I found a sort of balance between the two? I think that's how it works to get a obe. I'll keep trying, although that first time happened unintentionally. (Probably why I was so scared.) I wrote it all down in the morning and remembered every last vivid detail of it. I'm going to keep trying to get them and just stay as calm as possible so It'll last longer and hopefully be really cool too. ;-]

  • I just had an obe last night. Alright sweet! It was kind of scary though. :-( It was my first time so I was unsure even as to whether I was having one. I thought I woke up into my physical form until I walked across the room, tried to turn the light switch on but my finger went right through the switch. I tried it with my night light before that too and it was the same. I hallucinated that there was a girl my age in the room with me, and she grabbed my leg and pulled me under my bed. Normal? O_O

  • @TheSnowyice dude the last one I had I was flying so fast my eyes hurt and then I about to shoot someone in the back with a shotgun and then he turn into some kind of black liquid and beat the shit out of me since that day I haven't had a lucid dream

  • It didn't really work so well if at all last night lol I can't remember. I could barely even keep my eyes open when the timer woke me up at four in the morning heheh. ^.^ So yeah, maybe it'll work better tonight. :]

  • very imformative going to try this tonight, thanks !

  • 9:30 - 9:44 inception ?? O.o

  • @1irriplaceable1 limbo my friend.

  • @1irriplaceable1 Technically, yes.

  • 6, 6, 6? Scary!

  • I still dont know the difference between lucid dreaming and OBEs

  • I'd be scared to have an OBE. Is it scary?

  • @Randomz76 at first it may be startling, but once u get used to it ull be fine.

  • i had a lucid dream the first night after watching this for 40 seconds andat 25 seconds i had to think i was rolling around.i was trying to say stuff but because my brain worked at 6 hz a second unstead of 25 hz so i ended up saying parts of words.every summer my sleeping pattern fit the sceduele perfectly whick is why i created art work that won me a wii a trip to toronto and many other works that i kept.recently i was on a date with kate and the vivid pictures on the wall were great.

  • many times before school i will have extremely vivid dreams that i got up and got ready for school, while i was asleep. i have a very strange experience that i feel i can trust you with but i wont post the story. please message me if you are willing to explain some things for me. thank you

  • he waits until part 7 to tell me this... fml

  • Please answer my question: When the alarm goes off, what do i do? You will wake up, but do you try to go sleep again, or do you afterwards wake up in an OBE after a few beeps? Will the timer do all the job, making me go lucid and OBE, without letting me do something?

  • when I read "Lucid dreams" I got exicted. when I read "Out of body" i got afraid. lol

  • ok so i hear that there is a silver chord type thing. Ok so what if i think that the silver chord is gone do i die or is that the only thing i can't think of and manipulate

  • fuck doing it in the morning i want to do it at night

  • Fuck you Nicholas Newport!

  • @BrandonHasAChannel This guy is a joke. He over-complicates Lucid Dreaming. He has to show you all his stupid graphs and charts so you think he is good at what he does. Plus he has to make all these episodes so it seems like he knows what he is doing so you buy he stuff. Don't get hooked on this guy, he just over-complicates Lucid Dreaming. Lucid Dreaming is not even a very complicated thing,

  • @awesomeness1367 Yeah I know, I won't ever pay for anything that has to do with my spiritual path and existence, some of the techniques are quite good though :)

  • @BrandonHasAChannel You don't need this guys over-complicated bullshit to have a Lucid Dream. In my opinion all you need is a Dream Journal and good ol' DILD

  • this works ?

  • Is it possible to only use the ramp in the middle of the night ?

  • Hmm have to turn of the alarm when it starts but how will i do that without moving?

  • This person-with a tan, deeper voice and more muscles= One of the famous james bond actors.

    o_O

  • i have master lucid dreaming it toke me 2 years trust me its worth the time and energy to master it .

  • You explain this well. I'd love it if you convert all these videos into a printed book. I'll check if that's already been done.

  • far too complicated

  • @eyeUeye phuck that

  • i probley have them just cant remember any tips on how to remember dreams to lazy to find stuff :(

  • 9 people think OBE stands for obesity

  • Ooh! Almost worked. I had a lucid dream that lasted a very short time, then I just stopped being aware of being asleep. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

  • I can't fall back asleep in less than 20 minutes when I've been up for 45 minutes. Even the stop drop & roll command won't help.

  • every time i go to sleep even way before i learned about lucid dreaming i could really only be semi-lucid in the last dream i have before i have to wake up at 7 am i say semi-lucid because its so realistic and i kinda know its a dream and i don't even think about it at all ive never gotten to the stage of WOW IM DREAMING i just need some help on that last little hint that im dreaming so if anyone knows how to help me please let me know

  • I tried this today but I couldn't fall asleep before the first timer alarm. 8 minutes later I still wasn't asleep, 4 minutes later neither, etc. Say you go back to bed at 5:15, at which time are you supposed to set the first alarm? 5:23?

  • Sounds complicated

  • when i am falling to sleep i have like times where i hear somthing in my head or like kinda just feel myself dreaming for a second then i realise i am falling asleep and then i wake up again. then im like aw man i was nearly asleep now im not. this can happen a couple of times before i fall asleep and usually have some awesome wild dreams this is the 1st time i have lookd into this does anybody know what that is when your like half asleep? does it have a name?

  • @Zodiiia thats exactly what happens to me

  • @Zodiiia, hypnoganic imagery, something like that

  • i been having lucid dreams for almost year or more dont know, i also didnt even know what was lucid dream till today. I always sleep with my ipod on hearing music and start thinking that i would really want to be and to, like being a soul reaper(a guy can dream lol). when im asleep it always come closed to what i dream. like one time a dream the same thing for a week . and like last night i was dream of what i was really thinking of before sleeping. P.S.: i like to daydream alot.

  • by the way hes talking OBEs are like orgasms

  • lol i tried thisw but i just slept through the beep's

  • No ones made any inception jokes yet?

  • lol so you can actually get stuck if you don't know how to do your reality check right? xD

  • Soo..the name of the video is how to have a lucid dream fast, yet you tell us how to have an OBE..i'm not too keen on OBE's but im definately down with Lucid Dreams..

  • i had a obe one time when i was high

  • wait what is an OBE and what is the difference between an OBE and a lucid dream

  • @bnoruto Out of body Experience. Lucid Dreaming is simply when you realize that you are dreaming and then you wake up IN YOUR DREAM, your dream then becomes extremely realistic and vivid. Your dreams will feel like real life, but you can do whatever you want. Fly, smoke weed with Ghandi on the moon, fulfill sexual fantasies or whatever. OBE's are when you have you spirit LEAVE YOUR BODY so that you can travel around and what not. You become your spirit and can look down at your body ect..

  • @zbborah well what is so special about an OBE it sort of sounds boring like can you talk to those who have passed on or somethinh?

  • @bnoruto The importance is..well..its like you took acid or LSD or some kind of hallucigenic drug in the way that you can see things from other dimensions. When you are out of your body then you are in what is known as "The Astral Plane" and its a different world. You can fly and walk through walls and see things that you would have never imagined real. Look up Astral Projection Entities. AstralBooBaby has a video on that with drawings he made of the things he saw and descriptions of them.

  • @zbborah what do you mean spiritual entites, like the dead? so i could theoretically talk to my great great grandfather? is there any sort of ahem disturbing imagery that you could possibly see? i dont want to see dead people lying on the ground or people without heads

  • @bnoruto Theres alot of them..They can be things like angels and faries or things like Aliens.

But yes there can be disturbing images, as far as headless or dead bodies i dont think thats very likely ;D.

More like things from your nightmares such as: strange monsters or demons. You could probably talk to the dead although I would stray away from trying any type of communication from the dead knowing as thats just me and I don't believe you are to speak to those who wish to Rest In Peace

  • @zbborah well what if you prayed to god to let you talk to that person if that person wanted to be talked to? How would you find that deceased person? would you call out their name try to search the plane or what? Also have you ever tried this?

  • @bnoruto God can do whatever he wishes :D God is the almighty ONE, if he wanted you to speak to a deceased then he would do it, although if you are a Christian it states that you should stray away from that stuff...I myself have tried the Astral Projections but to my own dismay I got too afraid and lost control of it..You have to keep it all controlled or else you'll lose control. PM me if you respond so we don't spam this video :D

  • @zbborah no because god isnt real. DUDE! its all about Allah! No.. jk. Its all about ZUES!! and his bros! No... Its all about... do you get what im saying here? What makes you think christianity is so special when there have been probly 100s of thousands of other religions? Get real. There are no gods, the idea of religion and gods were just created by man.

  • i've downloaded the lucid dream timer and it comes with a lot of files! what do i do?

play them all as a playlist?

  • this is not good .... there are same software for free and there are much better techniques... plus he's saying practice is not good! it f**kin is useful ! for six month's practice dreaming testing and you'll have them every night....

  • I don't know if it really this easy to get a knighthood :/

  • watch?v=R02tbrZSO3I

  • The link on your site to the timer is broken...

  • night? u just told us not to do it at night

  • whats the difference between an OBE and a lucid dream?

  • @AthiestsRus obe is real..astral dimension..lucid dream is your own creation or you are control of ur dream

  • @ShaolinRambo alright that didnt clear up anything

  • wow listen to this guy he knows his shit.

within the past 18 years that i have been alive i have only ever had 2 lucid dreams and they were by realising im dreaming from within my dream. since the first time that happened about 5 years ago i have gone to bed every night trying to obtain the same result. but like it is said in the video it is unlikely and unreliable hence why since the first time 5 years ago it has only ever happened to me on one other occassion.

  • Sometimes i get them when i take an afternoon nap with lots of sunlight shining on me through the window

  • I'd rather try the longer method... Only because I cannot get over the fear of sleep paralysis, and I don't want to have to do that when I know there is an easier way into these things. I like the methods though.

  • Comment removed

  • @AminaFilms I dont even believe OBE's are real... I think you're just having a lucid dream but starting out in your own bedroom.

  • @AminaFilms It sounds like you're not an experienced astral traveler, if I were you I'd keep my mind open to the subject as many who experience and OBE know that whatever it is, it explores an entirely new realm of consciousness and experience unmatched in terms of clarity and vividness in comparison to the lucid dream. After all, he wouldn't keep mentioning it if it was nothing worth noting. But I am not you, and whether you choose to open yourself to new possibilities or not is your decision.

  • @AminaFilms More fun

  • @AminaFilms thats what a lucid dream is.. out of body, lol.

  • i have trouble falling asleep after WBTB....

  • What are the benefits of OBEs?

  • @Mu5clehead You are free from your body to do whatever you want.

  • @BlackSkullRacer613 Well, we're just exploring waking life, right? We could do that while we're awake.

While in lucid dreaming you can have fun as well as learn!

    OBEs are more complicated too.

  • When you do this, is it scary, or when you do it (The first time) is it gonna be like actually being awake?

  • so i tried this and my first lucid experience was where my mind generated the exact surroundings where i was sleeping. . so i went back to bed in my dream T.T

  • Can any one give me some tips on how to stay awake when trying to lucid dream ? Cause I allways pass out

  • Are out of body experiences good or bad?

  • this stuff sounds creepy

  • Out of body Experience... OBE

  • what does OBE mean?

  • I coulda sworn he said "boobies" there at the beginning!
