To @djdirtydiamonds What wisdom. Don't know how old you are but you see that all of the tripe the media has dished out to the young people of today are lies lies lies. A girl come to the hospital ER where I work the other day who said, "I wished I had listened to my mom instead of "Sex in the City" and "Friends". She had just been beaten by a boyfriend she moved in with because she romanticized what she saw on tv and thought it was the truth. Yes, Patsy Cline was a great lady!

Patsy, you give young women like me a chance to have a real hero. A woman who doesn't get by on how many men she sleeps with and who doesnt show off her assests just for publicity.
I hope that other young women can see that these famous girls today have absolutely nothing and that beauty and money fade, but strength and dignity last forever.
@djdirtydiamonds I think it's so sad that the only way in which you can assert your love for Patsy is to denigrate "these famous girls." You clearly know very little about the popular music scene today.
Yes, Patsy was absolutely marvelous. But so are many artists alive today. Try listening to a song by Adele, for instance. She isn't your sterotypical pop princess, instead a heart-wrenchingly soulful chanteuse who happens to be in 21st century pop.
@DirtyRottenScoundrel I think that the 'artists' who dirtydiamonds was referring to were the likes of Katy Perry and Britney rather than Adele. I agree that singers like Adele are ok by todays standards, but they are the exception and not the norm.

What a voice! When I was a kid living in Pennsylvania, I thought her voice was awful--what growing up will do for us, eh?
