  • Brian is the best !!! and Roger is good,too...

  • Queen is the best FUCK ALL THE REST!! :D <3

I miss so much to JOHN and FREDDIE

  • Brian May and Slash on the same stage. Oh man...

  • Americans have a poor sense of humor

  • Brian May looks like Slash's dad

  • @azulo is the slash´s dad in the guitarrrrrrrrr

  • what year is that?

  • o wow, Brian is even higher than Slash ... :O

  • Aww you just want Freddie there with them, and John of course.

  • Wow! Those were the days, eh?

  • Queen's downfall in the US happened before "I Want to Break Free", Jazz was a shitty album and so was Hot Space, failing to produce good albums for 3 years (other than The Game which had two huge singles in the US and not much else to it) is what did them in and "IWtBF" was the proverbial final nail in the coffin. I love Queen as a band but from 78-82, their albums were at best average. Another thing was that since they all wrote, their albums never had concepts, which was the people wanted.

  • @VasileneProductions

I will agree that Hot Space wasn't a very good album but then numbers don't lie when it comes to Jazz and The Game. In fact both had some very good songs. Regarding your last point, all four wrote songs in almost every album. The wonderful thing about Queen is that no one knew what to expect.

  • @rishi007316 The Game and Jazz did have some decent songs, but outside of those three or four songs they're nothing special. As for my last point, im just giving a reason why they weren't as big as some of the other bands of the era (who imo weren't as good). It was mostly a reply to those blaming the bible belt for black balling queen in america.

  • That was J C Van Damme in the beginning?

  • This Was In 1992!

  • never saw this footage! legends...

  • Don't blame the Bible belt. From what I remember it was MTV who decided not to play Queen after "I Want To Break Free" was released in the '80's.

The American fans were crazy about Queen. It was the American music media who gave Queen a hard time. Rolling Stone magazine as an example.

  • Thank You I remember watching a documentary on Queen and remembering MTV and many other media outlets in USA downgrade Queen for that music video. They did it because they didn't want to upset the little stuck up americans at the time. Ever since they in a way black balled Queen, many still believe they aren't as popula as they should be which I believe is true. If the media outlets would've left their opinion about Queen alone, I believe Queen would be 10 tines more bigger than they are today.

  • @savannah92able I`m American, and I never gave up on Queen. They are the biggest intercontinental band in the world, they had more hits per country than any other band in the world and that speaks for itself. Queen was black balled in america, simply because, americans sometimes fail to see the comedy in a situation.

  • @savannah92able Funny thing about Queen is that they've always been ahead of the game. What I mean by that is for instance they were banned from MTV & essentially America when they did the "I want to break free" video which had them in drag. Years later movies like "hairspray" & "jack & jill" ,which have men in drag, are being shown in the USA without any controversy.

  • You will never see something like that at the MTV award theese days, and that really pissed me off !

  • Thank you so much for this!

  • :D brian looks like some gigant :D

  • cool outfit Brian

i really mean it, i'd wish i had that jacket

  • I'd sleep in it!

  • se fossi nei panni della ragazza che presentava.... mamma mia mi sarei sciolta solo a pronunciare il nome!! figurati a dare a Briane a Roger un bacio! *-*

  • why did roger hide his wonderful eyes behind sunglasses??

  • he has problems with sight

  • They were sensitive as fuck.

People with blue eyes tend to wear sunglasses more, I'm the same way, because blue eyes are more sensitive to light.

  • Oh God!! how amazing!! hehe, wind is lucky! hehe ^^

  • Brian may is the best

    roger is the best!!!

  • queen rocks

  • What does axle means "there's nothing to do with michael jackson"? is that an insult or something? I was curious because MJ got Slash many times with his tour and performances, and MJ's favorite guitarist is EVH and Slash but slash is his good friend.

  • probs a private joke

  • See, this is when MTV actually SHOWED music. Nowadays all they have is that reality show crap. Brian & Roger are amazing here, as always. Such great guys they are :)

And about Brian's shirt, well he never cared for fashion so that's obviously why he's wearing that. I don't blame him either. If he liked the shirt he should wear it, regardless of what other people think. =P

  • What Brian is wearing is really bad!=)

    which jear is it?

  • tee hee roger talks wierd in the end!

  • wow thats the first time axl wore jeans in the 90's

  • ha,ha,ha! "this have nothing to do with michael jackson"! hi 5 on that!

  • I'd love to know why did axl say that MJ stuff!

  • anybody else have a "holy crap that's a lot of hair" moment at 3:26? u have slash, brian and the 2 blonde guys from gnr; how does all that hair fit on 1 stage?? not to disrespect, i love Queen.

  • Brian's shirt....wow.

  • USA really don't like queen. i don't know why.

i don't understand why they couldn't win the grammy

    (led zeppelin, either).

best film music video for bohemian rhapsody?

    are you kidding me?

it's the best song of modern times!

  • That's always been true. Queen, even in their prime, was not a popular band in the U.S. A damn shame.

  • come on now not popular in the states in their prime i went to all four sell out shows at the la forum in 80

although yes they were not as big as zeppelin but throughout the world they are current day the worlds formost greatest band

  • Zeppelin were HUGE in the 1970s. Queen sold out large arenas in Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Houston and Philadelphia were the band's biggest bases here in the United States (I'm from Boston originally and Queen were given the keys to that city in 1982 and the Mayor of Boston had a Queen Day in their honor in 1982) stood by Queen whilst Bible belt turned back on them.

  • its pretty pathetic that the bible belt states are filled with mostly narrow minded people I DIDNT SAY ALL i said narrowminded people people should learn to step out of their boxes there is a world of good out there especially in music

  • Exactly. The Bible Belt states all freaked when Queen dressed in drag in parts of the "I Want to Break Free" video. Those rednecks have no sense of humor. Some people claim Queen weren't big in the States but between 1975 and 1982, they had many sold out arena tours here and their albums (SHA, ANATO, ADATR, NOTW, Jazz, Live Killers, The Game, Flash Gordon, Greatest Hits and Hot Space) all sold either Gold or Platinum or Multi-Platinum in sales and charted in the US Top 40.

  • Zeppelin?

  • yes they were,,,,,,In the early 80's when another one bites the dust, and crazy little thing called love came, they were Huge

  • Queen were HUGE in the States between 1975 and 1981. ANATO, ADATR, NOTW, Jazz and The Game all hit the US Top 10 (The Game reached #1 whilst ANATO, ADATR and NOTW all reached US Top 5) and all sold a million plus copies upon release. Queen's popularity in the States due to various factors like Body Language, Radio Ga Ga, the video for I Want to Break Free which pissed the Bible belt off.

  • Queen and Guns 'n Roses together...I could die! =P

  • omyyygod so can i!!

  • When and what award it was?

  • when-1992

    what-best film music video

  • Thank you Scott for this. I remember this, I saw it at a friends house. Everybody thought I was crazy when flipped out over them because I'm in a Soul Neighborhood.

  • scottgreilly thank you so much!!!

Gracias por subir el video, por fin lo encuentro!!!!!!!

  • i think about 1993

  • What award is this exactly?

  • best film music video award

  • That's great, thanks Scott!!
