mark ronson a poor little rich kid. daddy writer mommy big socialite. his family are loaded this guy had all the connection to do anything in life. if he failed at this his family would have bail him out. posh twat can't stand him
@rob4b Seeing as you don't know Mark you're hardly in a position to make comments about his family or lifestyle. He's absolutely in awe of Duran Duran and has actually managed to help create the best Duran album since Severn & The Ragged Tiger. In fact there are some tracks which are nearly as good as the stuff from the first two albums. Not sure about him being posh but he's a real nice guy who has a great passion for music, especially Duran Duran. This is going to be a truly amazing record.
@DuranFan09 i have met him on regular occassion in my work he makes out he struggled in life this is far from the truth if you know the term mocky cockney then you'll understand what i'm talking about.
Oh my .... jeez Mark, you've just made a very stupid mistake!
Especially when you claim you worked with him for the most part.....John is the bass player! You are apparently very overrated by my fav band......numskull
@heksje69 Ah, no, I was confused too, but it's actually referring to the demo he was playing; a demo from his OWN album (now the track "Lose it In the End"). John from The Drums is a legitimate, and separate, person.
@DJRoxi Yeah that's so apparent from 10 seconds of audio... *rolls eyes* They're Duran Duran. No matter how good the song is, radio will dig their heels in because of the stigma attached to the band. They make their money from touring and corp gigs nowadays anyway.
Just to clarify, the whole thing isn't Duran. The only part we can tell for sure is what's playing just before and while Mark is speaking. The bass part afterward MIGHT be, but that's just speculation.
The first one is "Girl Panic!", the second one is "Safe".

Couple of funnies of John. You look like Frau Farbissener @ .16 and Billy Idol at @ 1.03, chickidee.

I like the second song in the middle of the footage here but the first is not strong enough for radio.
