@TinnBenn you're gonna have to see zee tv horror show before you say that, and also i never said all american horror movies are bad, some are very scary, i.e. the relic and the golem, i said most are not, and americans excel in comedy movies not horror movies, just see zee tv horror show, and you'll see.
I love how everyone is saying how America makes terrible movies, and we don't understand the concept of horror movies. First off, the examples that most of you are using as "horror movies" are thrillers, which didn't exist when horror first became a genre. Horror movies were originally intended, not to scare people with cheap tricks, but with the concept of the movie itself. This is the closest to a REAL horror movie that I've seen in a long time.
@DtardFilms wrong, that's the difference between how the audience thinks and some people who make certain types of movies think, the movies are MADE FOR THE AUDIENCE, your mentality means just make movies for you and your friends who agree with you, if a horror movie doesn't scare people and make them almost sweat or cringe, its not a horror movie, period!
not realistic, the girls would have been dead halfway through the movie, the way it was going, American horror movies are so watered down and lame, and comedy, i will say America excels in comedy movies, no country does it better, but horror movies, not even close, because they get so fucking emotional that they have to ban it, instead of critiquing the art, in asian horror movies, especially indian, everyone who gets in perilous situations gets eaten, don't matter who they are.
@kalai131 i have seen some european and indian horror movies, where pregnant women's bellies get eaten whole, and where the monsters are very scary and sneaky, and sneak up on so called heroes and heroines alike and devour them whole, with incredibly scary music, you can hear the actors heart pounding, that's a REAL HORROR MOVIE, hope America gets the concept of a real horror movie.
@X4xHAWKx5X ok I know some, Zee Tv Horror Show, if you can find those episodes, it may be available online, also food of the gods is pretty scary especially the first one, and stephen king's movie of the scary rat demon, it was released in 1990, don't remember the title though! its hard to find scary american horror movies, cause they just don't have that ability, in my opinion, everything is funny to them, EVERYTHING! but other honorable mentions is Terminator 1, and the exorcist.
@kalai131 I agree, most U.S horror films aren't too serious & the ones that aren't funny are all shock value or use too much CGI or just plain suck. I feel like the horror genre is dying (at least in U.S). But compared to recent monster/horror films I actually thought Feast was alright. Granted the 2 survived, it wasn't that predictable especially the part with the kid.

Awesome movie, one of my favorites since the first time I saw it. I love the sequels too and hope the fourth DOES in fact get made. If it does, hopefully they bring back the surviving three from this one. (minus any other survives from this one that are in the sequels). I do wish Jason had a bigger part in this movie but, it's too bad he didn't. And it's hilarious how they said the bartender would have a horrible death in 70 min, once the 70min mark came, he dies. Lol. (SPOILER): or so we think.
