  • Want to make your day on a Monday,

Feel your touch on a Tuesday,

Work it out on a Wednesday,

But you keep giving me blue days.

I got so much love to give

You got me living in the days

And I wanna give it all to you

But are you giving a blue day?

  • @BriMcRae I've been listening to this song for years and had no idea what was said after "Wednesday", thanks a bunch.

  • Yes! Gets better like a good wine... and goes with it perfectly...

  • This whole album is terrific and still relevant. It's from 1993. You can still order on-line, i.e., Rasputin Music & DVD. It's the Jazzmasters 1 album produced by Paul Hardcastle.

  • Next to "Heaven", this the joint!!! Used to jam this to no end.

I've got so much love to give, you've got me living in a haze.....and I wanna give it all to you...but all you give me are blue days...

    think thats it!!!!

  • Thanks very much jamesmarla! Have loved this cut for over 15 years, but could never figure that chorus out.

  • Does anyone know the lyrics to the chorus? I've always had a problem deciphering them. Thanx 4 the upload!

  • im a virgin with paul so b gentle! but i love all

  • wow you need to listen to him alot more

  • Listen to Lost in Space by Paul Hardcastle.

  • the beginning of this song sounds like the beginning of Snoop's Dog "sexual seduction."

  • Monatee - agree the instrumentals are similar. I'll bet Snoop Dog was inspired by Paul Hardcastle, and I'd like to hear more of that style from him. This album is from '93; one of Snoop's best albums was also from '93.

  • This is truly one of Paul Hardcastle's best songs. The sultry singing by Helen Rogers is awesome. This is only her singing. Her voice is overdubbed.

  • She really is something else. I have always thought that her voice fits his music perfectly. I don't know that anyone else can pair up so well with his passionate sound.

  • yes

  • i remember this song from '93 or '94. damn memories

  • Oh my this song is just simply amazing.

  • AMAZING \o/

  • I remember when this CD/song first came out. I had it on cassette and played this song much that I wore the tape out. But then I bought the CD... and I play it even to this day.

  • 94.7 KWAVE Los Angeles

  • Great post, danichiki!!! This is the song that reintroduced me to Paul Hardcastle. This album is one of my all-time favorites...

  • Ive been listening to Paul Hardcastle for 15 years, his music is best listened to late at night, in room overlooking the city, or in a sophisticated "dive bar" somewhere in london, where all the lights are on the floor . . .

  • thats a very nice visual

maybe wen i graduate from highschool

i'll to england and enjoy a scene liek that

    it must be so relaxing...

  • Yeahhhh . .

  • Damn that is a good visualization. I always think of overlooking cities. I am from San Francisco area and always enjoy going up high on buildings, listen to some good soothing music while drinking some alcohol of all kinds.

  • @danking27 Yeah I picture the same thing. In San Francisco in a high rise at a bar chilling with the music in the background.

  • I used to listen to CD while studying, driving, everything. It wsa my favorite CD back then.

  • i only recently got the CD well not recently seeing as how it was over 8 months ago but i instantly fell in love with it =)

i have just 2 other songs from him on here now...but within the next month or so i should have uploaded every song that i have from him onto youtube

  • Helen Rogers has such a seductive voice...She has a myspace page...

  • really?! do you know the url ???

  • @andyman58 i know it

  • Man it doesn't get any better than this!

  • lol yeah i know what you mean

can u watch my other jazz vids too? =)

  • I sure can,i'm a second year med student and i study while listening to paul and the jazzmasters. They haven't let me down so far.lol lol

  • thanks alot =)

wow a med student thats pretty up there

do u mind me asking what field of medicine ur into?

  • As things stand at the moment, i'm headed toward cardiovascular surgery.

  • its good to know that theyre are people out there that strive for a better kind of life and an excellent profession

i hope you continue to pursue your career and that you are successful in it =)

  • Nice!! I bought this tape way back in 94.

  • lol thanks hey can u check ou tmy other videos and put a comment on them itd be much appreciated =)

  • So did I!!!! LOL. I used to play this at bedtime, if you know what I mean!!

  • this other song i uploaed by paul hardcastle sounds like more of the song you'd play to bed lol

  • just wants to make u rock and move your body,,,sounds even better when your rocking with someone......u cant get sounds like this anymore,,,

  • if u like this song can u check out soem other songs i put up recently and tell me what you think?

  • I had a friend who introduced me to the jazzmasters Paul Hardcastle and since then I love it and that was back in my country of origin

  • A friend turned me on to this album the Jazz Master it was a lovely evening and it sound even better that morning!

  • I was a junior in high school when this album was released. This is an all-time classic to me. I am a bass player not a sax player, but Gary Barnacle was one of the best sax players of that era!

  • gary barnacle's name sounds familiar

what songs did he make or appear in?

  • He was the saxophonist for the first Jazzmasters CD. Phil Todd replaced him on the rest.

  • Is puerto banus up?

  • what is puerto banus?

  • It's a song on Jazzmasters 4

  • I take Jazz and all the classics like Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughn, Tony Bennett 50, 60, 70, 80, then Rap. Paul Hardcastle is the Bomb.

  • I'd seriously appreciate that mate. Iv'e always been a lover of fusion and jazz music and family members always made fun of me because they thought i was too young to like jazz. I guess it is true that you are born with or without class. This sort of music is simply out of this world though.

  • lol then ill upload for u and all the other jazz lovers out there. my fmily the same way. they think just cause im 16 i cant like jazz. but its always good to know someone out there does love this music.

  • hey Danichiki Jazz is ok I like rap and and r&b better though

  • lol its cool

    i love all music basically

but your comment is still much appreciated ^_^

  • Great taste in music for someone so young. Good luck getting people to understand, though. They expect you to be into nothing but lousy pop music at that age.

  • I"m young and i Love paul hardcastle!

  • lol yeah i know what you mean

but let them have whatever sterotypical thoughts bout me

all i know is that when it comes to music jazz is #1

  • Speechless. . .

im in tears right now. This is sooo good that i dont have a worthy comment to make. it brings back so many good childhood memories for me.

    Awesome!

  • thanks i have other songs from the same group

if u want i can upload them sometime soon =)

  • Do you have any of his Kiss the Sky group songs?

  • umm i dont think tthat ive heard of them before. what style of music do they make, if you can give me some info on them then i can upload some songs from them. =)

  • Kiss the Sky is a side group from Paul Hardcastle, feat. Jacki Graham and a couple of sax and flute players. They have a self-titled album and another called Millenium Skyway. Hardcastle hasn't released any other Cd's under this group name.

  • ill lok for em and upload some songs from them then =)

  • no pro

  • lol i like this music cause it relaxs me ^_^

but really it was meant for the ppl that actually liked hte music

but thanx for commenting anyway ^_^

  • .jazz and blue music are not my type but this song is good
