Love this sweet upbeat smooth rhtyem of paul hardcastle ,But then again i love'em all my favorite is "still thinking about you" by the jazzmasters but still cannot find if anyone has it please feel free to get in touch with me..Thx
This is one of the best songs of Paul..he gets better with time, another lovely song is one of the latests- The circle.....released, may 09. lovely Paul...keep on
This whole album is terrific and still relevant. It's from 1993. You can still order on-line, i.e., Rasputin Music & DVD. It's the Jazzmasters 1 album produced by Paul Hardcastle.
wow i agree wholeShe really is something else. I have always thought that her voice fits his music perfectly. I don't know that anyone else can pair up so well with his passionate sound. haertly with you
Monatee - agree the instrumentals are similar. I'll bet Snoop Dog was inspired by Paul Hardcastle, and I'd like to hear more of that style from him. This album is from '93; one of Snoop's best albums was also from '93.
She really is something else. I have always thought that her voice fits his music perfectly. I don't know that anyone else can pair up so well with his passionate sound.
I remember when this CD/song first came out. I had it on cassette and played this song much that I wore the tape out. But then I bought the CD... and I play it even to this day.
Hey dani, I received your message. Yes I am a musician. I produce Smooth Jazz. I also produce relaxation music for resorts. I have recently uploaded a few new tracks. I will much more soon. What you will hear are my productions created at home studio, and a few from the bigger studio. I added some pictures to go along with the mood. I hope you & your subscribers ENJOY them!
Ive been listening to Paul Hardcastle for 15 years, his music is best listened to late at night, in room overlooking the city, or in a sophisticated "dive bar" somewhere in london, where all the lights are on the floor . . .
Damn that is a good visualization. I always think of overlooking cities. I am from San Francisco area and always enjoy going up high on buildings, listen to some good soothing music while drinking some alcohol of all kinds.
I was a junior in high school when this album was released. This is an all-time classic to me. I am a bass player not a sax player, but Gary Barnacle was one of the best sax players of that era!
I'd seriously appreciate that mate. Iv'e always been a lover of fusion and jazz music and family members always made fun of me because they thought i was too young to like jazz. I guess it is true that you are born with or without class. This sort of music is simply out of this world though.
lol then ill upload for u and all the other jazz lovers out there. my fmily the same way. they think just cause im 16 i cant like jazz. but its always good to know someone out there does love this music.
Great taste in music for someone so young. Good luck getting people to understand, though. They expect you to be into nothing but lousy pop music at that age.
umm i dont think tthat ive heard of them before. what style of music do they make, if you can give me some info on them then i can upload some songs from them. =)
Kiss the Sky is a side group from Paul Hardcastle, feat. Jacki Graham and a couple of sax and flute players. They have a self-titled album and another called Millenium Skyway. Hardcastle hasn't released any other Cd's under this group name.
Want to make your day on a Monday,
Feel your touch on a Tuesday,
Work it out on a Wednesday,
But you keep giving me blue days.
I got so much love to give
You got me living in the days
And I wanna give it all to you
But are you giving a blue day?
BriMcRae 3 months ago
@BriMcRae I've been listening to this song for years and had no idea what was said after "Wednesday", thanks a bunch.

This is truly one of Paul Hardcastle's best songs. The sultry singing by Helen Rogers is awesome. This is only her singing. Her voice is overdubbed.
