@214seattlegirl She asked him if he would consider speaking out loud once, and it was just because she was curious. He said no, and seemed rather uncomfortable, so she dropped it. He was the one who chose to take speech therapy and ultimately made the decision to use his voice.

Someone mentioned here that Toby is hot, and I just gotta say that all guys on this show are so unique, cute & thus super sexy. Not typical self-centered eye candies with a sun tan.

I'm not saying that bay and Emmett shouldn't be together I love them together but Emmett wasn't worrying about it until Toby came along I mean eventually he would have probably giving in to his senses but I don't think he would have really done anything so quickly without Toby that's my opinion

@RawrXLuvsXYouX07 Disagree. I had no doubt that it was his mom who planted all those thoughts in his mind and the kiss w/ his Daphne mixed all up. But when he spoke to Bay saying that "from the beginning you weren't hearing OR deaf, you were just Bay", I was 100% assured that he never wanted to break up w/ her - he simply started noticing the bad stuff, though that "bad stuff" existed from the start & he felt ok. But Toby's signing & all showed him that it's the effort that counts.
