another comment...Community should know the names of all the School Board Members..That way home owners can stare at the faces of the individuals raising school taxes.....Charter Schools are a failure also.....look at what is happening in the second biggest school system of the country ( NYC) ...the Charters are failing......again try School VOUCHERS...and one last note...THE BOARD SHOULD BE ELIMINATED...LET THE STATE TAKE OVER..we are failing as a Community...
I have some comments. Mr C needs to stop going back to his days and focus on today's day and age and what children/teens are facing...Mr C completed school at HSD, He is blessed for that....lets pray for the future generation because they have less of a chance. Mr. B made good points, but they are routine. In fact, he hesitated at first. Perhaps he just couldnt think of an answer... One simple answer = voucher programs ...look up the Zelman v. Simmons-Harris Supreme Court Case - 2002
