at the bottom of the firefox browser there should be a thing that asks to accept firefox connection type usually. Then you just accept it and it will save a cookie which allows you to use that port.
It's just a security feature since port 10000 is a little sketchy.

So is webmin built for Linux? Doesn't putty and telnet work as well for updating and administrating a server from a different computer?
Or do I also have to download putty to the Linux server...
I haven't had a chance to test out Ubuntu server yet, but I'm downloading it now.

But... some things like the link to webadmin are incorrect and the command 'sudo apt-get install webmin' dit not work for me.
I used: sudo dpkg --install webmin_1.470_all.deb
And it works perfectly, so thanks again!
